I'm getting the following error trying to run the Stateful Physics Demo: [ClientWorld] The default physics world contains 1 dynamic physics objects which are not ghosts. This is not supported! In order to have client-only physics, you must setup a custom physics world: - Entity(438:3)

Hey Samuel, I'm Robel from the SDK team at ChainSafe. Thank you for using out SDK! and thank you for your feedback! The errors you've been facing are due to your chain Id/configured network. While the SDK supports any EVM based chain and/or network currently the samples are configured to work exclusively for Goerli (Ethereum Network, chain ID = 5). This is due to a lot of hashes and addresses already configured/used are based on Goerli, most of these values can be updated on a sample script attached to the specific sample button through the Unity Inspector (serialized values). I've already requested a documentation update to point this out. On our next release we'll also update this sample to log and display a descriptive error when chain ID is different from Goerli. We apologize for any frustration/inconveniences this might have caused :)

Thanks. I'll do another pass over the full sample project for a new video.

In CSS at least, padding goes INSIDE a container, margin goes OUTSIDE a container.
@SamuelAsherRivello11 ай бұрын
Great info. Thanks!
@MansGottaCode9 ай бұрын
Margin traditionally goes outside of the container in CSS. However, it looks like Unity UI Toolkit by default is basically doing the CSS equivalent of using the border-box option for the box-sizing property. So a margin/border actually is included inside the container.

Great video, watched the whole thing. This made dots far less scary and hybrid approach makes a lot more sense to me now. Essentially it seems like rendering, transforms, physics and game logic can be transferred to dots, but everything else is still OOP for now. I like the idea of dots modularly optimising update loops, and sitting inside an OOP framework
