3:45 the rear end of these cars ARE bigger than the front even in stock form.. almost disproportionately. BEcause the front end is nearly as small as an STI. In fact some people use those front lips (with modification).. But that is just how small the front end is... compared to the back

@Vaxicasuz thanks..yea for sure it was a very rare find when I came apon it. Original owner and 13k easy miles..always garages..the flat blue just hits perfect in parking garages I can't even catch it on video. You can see the progress from some older videos I have on here.iv tried a few different exhausts..and taillights..and windscreens.. I owned a good amount of these 05-06 zx6r many years ago when they were just a few years old ao most were in excellent shape. It hard to find some oem fairing bike that's in good shape anymore. The only thing I wanna do is possibly powder coat the rims gold to match the color of the folks and calipers. It's been done by a fee o see online who have thos color..but im not sure I'll do it any time soon. Good luck with your bike.and message me if you got any questions on mods..

@Vaxicasuz iv owned it for about 15 months now..i just turned 19k the other day..i change the oil and filter with rotella T6 and an Oem kawasaki oil filter every 1000k miles

It really wasn't too harsh compared to stock Now the kyb shocks are probably not meant for lowered cars..but iv had this lowered for over 3 years now and still rides fine..and alignment is on point

This has some added a-spec lower body molding on it..but your rear bumper..and front bumper would be different from a type s But there are a-specs lips available for your year car

H&R sport springs and kyb shocks 1.4 " front drop 1.3" rear drop Is what is said the drop is Still aligns fine and gets rid of some of the wheelwell gap

I'm late to the game, 4 years later. Your TL is sweet. I inherited my younger brothers 07 TL base. I'd love to restore it to make it look as good as yours. Would the body molds you have fit a base model?

@Koolaid19691 yea..all the lower lips will fit ymthe base model 07-08 type s..side skirts fit 04-08 tl..but my front and rear lips were made for the base bumpers on the 07-08 tl I liked the look better.. Not sure acura has much left in the cars different colors I think black and white were there only ones not discontinued For the type s..or the base model

No it was a stock type s front bumper. I just put a base 07-08 aspec lip on it ..trimmed just a bit by the corner fog area

Its the aspec lip..but for the base 2007-08 tl...not the aspec lip for the 07-08 tl type s bumper..the front bumpers are different for the base and the type s..

Yea..theres not much..there was at least lowering springs and shocks. you could juat have an exhaust shop swap over some new mufflers and your choice of tips

I only rub on a front fender where the tip of the bumper meets a d screws in...it's only on 1 of my tires since it's a kumho..and a bit wider then the goodyears on the other 3 rims...even though they are all 235/40/19 I wanna get a 245/35/19..which would be a bit wider. But smaller diameter by just a bit

@acxg8105 good luck. This was originally my mom's car and when she passed I took it and changed it up a bit .it's very similar and basicly done like my acura tl type s I have...the hyundai has 218k miles on it and I'll keep driving it. She got it with around 46k miles

You gotta make them from a set of all red tails from a 2004-06 And u take some parts outta the 2007-08 type s tails Cut them both open..there's a few videos on here and online there's a few step by step guids

They are stock headlights I just put a darker transparent vinyl over the amber portion of the headlight corner. Some guys will bake the headlights open and paint or hyrdrpdip the inside whatever they want mand then re seal them...but this is good enough for me

@TheSlash8861 o yea do your thing..these cars have been around a bit so many mods have been done..but it's your Lego to build..I went a few different routes w the splitters that I have seen others do But I'm happy how it sits and I dont plan on changing anything much I actually thought about selling it again because I have a motorcycle now and this acura will be driving less Last year I drove it less then 8k miles But it's got such good lines that flow so well with today's cars It really is a great style..just gotta maintain them because these are over 16 years or older from 2004 to 2008
