I'm confused how would that ever hold flooring? That doesnt pass 3000psi even if it had been protected.
@Evan_Adams9 жыл бұрын
I am so confused, sorry. I am in the USA, is that concrete? it just looks like sand. I've never seen radiant heat pipes put in a sand floor. Do you pour a slab on top?

Iav been labouring to floor screeders since i was 15 pumping etc....And i have to say its a hard job. respond to people talking about lack of speed the screed is coming in at.. (1) the screed looks dry (2) Maybe 50 meters of pipe on? (3) shit pump? lol anyway i think its a credit to all the hard working screeders out there, but stop killing us men on the pump! lol 100 square meters would be plenty in a day :D lol

@speknek360 Thanks for the comments. The water is adjusted to facilitate trowelling and can further vary dependent on the sand from varying pits. We have been screeding for 23 years and carry out some of the biggest projects, such as Dublin Airport Terminal 2. I'm sure the screeder knows what he's doing.

bad screeders dousnt even now that the pressure of the pump is to high it dousnt send the screed smoothley

This video was produced to give a better insight as to how the floor screeding process works. We hope you find this useful.

ok little comment to pressure on the maschine is to high :p that thing jumps less pressure more water and it comes slowly into the room without destroing or move the pipes its advise this is my work ^^ in belgium

Thanks for the comments. We screed approximately 100,000sm per year over UFH and have not encountered any problems. Our operatives do take care with protecting the pipes and tacker guns are present to tack a pipe back if dislodged.
@cscscreeding15 жыл бұрын
The screed is adjusted to facilitate trowelling and must be careful not to have a too high water cement ratio as increased shrinkage could result. There are no kinks in the pipe as the UFH pipes are clipped to the floor. Our screeders are provided tacker guns, so if a clip is removed, we can easily relace. I would like to see how you think our pipe could not contact the UFH pipes? Djoints can be treated either by wire reinforcement or an SBR slurry mix.

Unfortunately not at present but if you would like to send in your CV for appraisal, we could contact you in the future. Thanks.

We have screeded over underfloor heating for many years and have never busted a pipe. It is very difficult to completely protect the pipes from movement so we supply all our screeders with tacker guns. The insulation boards have a grid system and not difficult to ensure the pipe is in the correct location. We appreciate your comments and hope this reassures the position and confirm that hydronic systems are pressurised during screed installation and failure would be indentified immediately.
