I discovered this on my own because I’m self taught just listen what sounds good by ear but so spaced out essentially what u mean is it’s just a dissonant chords are essentially augmented chords? Just crunched? This is blowing my mind perhaps augmented isn’t the right term but I get what u mean that’s sick

Yk the composer Eric Whitaker uses a lot of cluster chords with a bunch of extensions on his choir pieces like lux arumque and when David heard

Gospel chords? This sounds like laid back jazzy lounge piano.
@ZacBarnesMusic2 күн бұрын
@@aaronrhines1484 I definitely have a jazz influence but Gospel Chods has quite a diverse history with much of it being rooted in jazz and blues. What makes this more of a gospel style are the voicings im using. Jazz tends to stretch the chords more with quartal voicings

Hey man, love the content! I'm an absolute beginner: How do you recommended I practice? Are there any books or online material that you recommend? Trying to avoid bad muscle memory. Im not really sure about the hand & finger positioning. Honestly just now ran into one of your video playing some really interesting chords . Impressive i would love to be able to play like that one day. I'm not really familiar with many Keyboard Brands. But i love the sounds of the Roland's and recentlythe Nords.
@NN-sp9tu3 күн бұрын
How did you learn to play properly? I have a good ear but that’s about it. My knowledge of theory is passable and my technique is mid. I don’t know how to improve
