I could listen to Saiko Shihan for hours-what a great story teller. Very thankful that he is willing to sit down and tell the history of Kyokushin and Oyama Karate so it isn’t lost and can continue to inspire others.

During our video production, Supreme Master Yasuhiko expressed deep sympathy for your elder brother. The late Supreme Master Shigeru had previously injured his knee, highlighting a profound sense of brotherly love. He possessed a superhuman punching power that could have resulted in instant tragedy if it made contact with someone's face. Today's story reminds me that a strike to the philtrum (人中:じんちゅう) could have left a permanent scar in your mouth. It’s vital to understand that conflicts, even among siblings, cannot be resolved through martial arts. This concern likely struck a chord with Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, who was aware of the inherent dangers in such scenarios. I am thankful for the chance to revisit this valuable narrative on this occasion. I genuinely appreciate the storytelling of Supreme Master Yasuhiko, which always resonates deeply. 押忍
