One of the greatest songs of all time! And Carole's version of her own song is the best! I wish this had been the version released in 1980. Thanks be to God for Carole King! What a gifted musician!

I'm sitting here reliving the old days, and this song takes me way back to high school days. Skipping class and ridding around, and this song was on the radio all the time back then...and I still love it. My sister got married when this song came out and I had a blast that night! With this song in the back round. Too bad I'm 66 now. To you young people, have all the fun while you can! Take care.

I love this version just as much as the one the Cookies does. This version has a lot of energy to it. Carole King is a terrific song writer.

The bass player, Charles Larkey, was married to Carole for awhile. He's my 2nd or 3rd cousin, although we've never met in person.

Listen to this, with 1977’s “Song On the Radio” by Al Stewart. Notice any melodic and beat similarities? Just saying. Works for me; they’re both irresistibly infectious.

I’m on vacation surfing with my wife and kids and another family. The teens and I saw the sunrise while fishing off of Ogunquit Beach, and now I am in front of our place, cooking breakfast burritos while staring out on the ocean. This is my soundtrack. Totally stumbled upon it by asking for a Dead show from this day in history. I think I found my soundtrack for the day. Thank you, and the visuals from your b-roll makes it a terrific time capsule.

This brings back those memories of my growing up in the greatest times of Rock and roll. We were so lucky to have performers and composers like Carol King. I loved her then and still always love her forever. These were the best years of my life and represented times that were so much more pure and innocent. Love love love this music!
