Love the normal typhon. Only thing that sucks is if you break front shock towers you have to replace whole chassis. I've brocken 2...lol running 3s in front of house. once it starts tumbling on black top it over at high speed

Just got a typhon grom and the esc randomly cuts out so I lose my throttle but I still have steering. After I turn it off and back on it usually works again so I doubt it’s the motor. Could recalibrating help at all?

@ from my understanding you can drive whatever tires you want but depending on the surface the guys at the drift track will let you which ones work best and then setup the car accordingly.

@@squishybushlaplant6166 sometimes rc car may not come from factory with full throttle or brake input preset. I’ve had it happen to mine in the last where my car only had 75% throttle from factory.

nice bash but that esc to me is garbage ...you can totally hear that esc cauging like crazy when you give it throttle in the grass at take off ..I would take the esc out and get 150 amp firma esc in it and run on 4s ..then you will see true power

Isn't it just a rebranded Hobbywing? They're pretty solid generally, I think increasing the punch usually help with cogging.

A 6s in a 4s defintely helps them run cooler and smoother for me . Then there’s the 6s pack , ohh laaawd , yes for me👍. I hardly floor it though because it’s already enough . It’s like driving a sports car with the best engine , hardly gets hammered and neither sound healthy fully floored imo . Stuff wears a a lot quicker and looser imho over time . Not that we don’t like replacing worn gears for some good rips
