This comment is curious. Based on what I watched your videos, your experience with it wasn't good. It sounds like there was issues with staff, issues with the convention center, and trying to find a proper place for it. As an attendee, I feel like out of the other Anime cons at the location, Anime Central still uses the space the best. This year they expanded their exhibitor space in the front. If they felt like it was a mistake or failure and didn't have the resources or means to support it properly going forward, I'd rather them stop doing it and focus their efforts on other offerings. Also, I have friends that staff at other conventions across the country. After the pandemic, all anime/fan conventions seem to be having issues getting volunteers for staffing. Many either don't follow through, don't show up, or go with no communication or engagement for months. IF that trend continues, I see most anime conventions dying out. 😢

@@dragonhero14 my experience was absolutely horrendous but I’m someone who wants to see improvement. Especially when a lot of the issues were from the con itself. It was very clear they did this in a rush as a quick cash grab kind of deal bc the communication and execution was so terrible. Bc there were minor changes they could do that would have made this work in year 2. But from what I’ve noticed Acen does not implement things well bc they want to be as hands off as possible. In regards to other conventions I’m not surprised I have a few friends in staffing all over and what we are seeing is the bad manager effect. A lot of conventions are being run by people or have people in positions of power who are incredibly abusive and staff are tired of it. We had an incident at Colossal north where the entire cosplay contest department was being ignored and verbally abused for months and then they got berated at the con in front of attendees and then removed bc they called out the abuse. Just this week anime detour ignored its own bylaws when doing their board vote. It’s all gonna come to a head at some point but there’s a reason certain cons are slowly dying.

In the novel the fight is short but makes much more sense. In the anime they omit too much information and explanations that take away coherence to what happens, it is more spectacular but more generic and convenient.

From what I've seen its been announced as a 12 episode season but I'm sure their will be a season 2. I don't think we have enough time to go through the red gate arc right now unless they speed blitz the job change quest but then that wouldn't be as impactful.

No. In the documentary we already saw sketches of Beru, Jinwoos new look and more of future arcs. I doubt they'd make these if they didn't plan to implement them

@@pumpa244 I'm pretty sure we'll see the whole story animated. The SL anime isn't a marketing tactic to get the webtoon to sell more, it's already ridicuously popular after all. The documentary made pretty clear that it's a passion project for the fans, and they showed early concepts of Beru amongst other things. A-1 not only got into contact with the webtoon studio but also the original Author of the novel to ensure it's done right. They also wouldn't have changed so many things in the anime to improve the worldbuilding, if the anime doesn't even reach the point it takes effect. They showed Jeju Island way earlier for a reason. If nothing else, we'll definitely get another 12-13 episodes including the Jeju Arc, because anything else wouldn't make sense. Sorry wrote more than I planned lol

I don’t think it’s gonna cover till red-gate arc (chapters 46-55) They can adapt 5 chapters in an episode as seen in episode 1 and 2 but the last three episodes were paced at around 2-3 chapters per episode and at that pacing, this season will probably only cover till chapter 45. Additionally, the opening had no content from past job-exchange arc so I’m guessing they’ll end it off in that arc
