I remember the first time I heard Edmund, around 2011. I didn't like Arthur's character in Doctor Who so hearing his music was mind-blowing. At the time I thought that he'd tragically chosen the wrong career. Then of course later I realised he's a very talented actor too.

I used to love this song in high school, years ago, and I just listened to it for the first time in years. Remembered all the words and still really like it! This is even the same video I used to listen to, I think

I'll never be able to properly thank you for providing quite possibly my literal favorite album. I've always had a hard time picking favorites, but somehow, this music has always jumped straight out at me. Of course, back in 2012, I was a hopeless nerd obsessed with doctor who and Rory (who wasnt????), but over time, I really fell in love with the production, all the weird instruments, all the sometimes incomprehensible lyrics. I feel like every year or so, I go scouring the internet for other sources of this song- but I keep coming back to where I originally downloaded this onto my ipod touch using an online mp3 converter. Long, dumb comment to say- thank fuck for you putting this on youtube.

Just to clear up a few points, 1. Yes, this is Arthur Darvill singing 2. It's from his old band Edmund from his teenage years. 3. They did actually release one album together but only distributed a few copies for friends and family. 4. It's obviously not on iTunes because of ^ and they broke up a loooooooong time ago Bonus! If you want more of Arthur singing, he was recently (as in like 2013 or so) in a Broadway production of Once and some songs are on KZbin, go look it up!

This keeps happening to me too! Mathew Baynton has an acoustic project called Dog Ears, and Ben Whishaw sings in a film adaptation of The Tempest . As for Doctor Who actors, Karen Gillan did an amazing rendition of Sia's "Chandelier", and Danny Horn (who played the young Kazran in A Christmas Carol) has a KZbin channel where he uploads original songs.
