To answer your question, your camera was getting a lens flare from your window...that's what caused the line across the screen. It's ok, however, since your personality covered for any technical imperfections ;-) Two suggestions: 1) Either close the shade or (depending in your camera) use a lens hood to kill the flare. 2) Sound is really really really important, and your room is echoing quite a bit. You can either do some sound treatment with moving blankets to cut that down, use a "lav" mic to get closer to your mouth, or a small-diaphram condenser mic (like the Oktava MK-012 with a hyper-cardiod capsule) to cut down on echo. Even an inexpensive blue yeti that's close to your mouth would fix 80-90% of the echo. Of course this is all minor stuff...just constructive suggestions. You already have a terrific on-screen personality...I just want everyone to see and hear it clearly. ;-) Good luck with your channel!
