So this is going back a bit. Heard this song years and years back. - Anyone I mentioned it to had no idea what I was talking about. - Was never able to find it. Until today that is anyway! (A good 8 years after it was uploaded here...)

Very cool appreciate that you dig the flavor! But better yet you found the song archived for all eternity. Peace and thank you!

What annoys me is is that they WERN'T a pop band. So why do pop shit in amongst raw funky heavy gems? Did the pop element really make em more popular??

The third track sounds like Doug Pinnick! I suppose it's him....It has to be! Anyway, thank you to the upload! I grew up with Kings X or even fishbone and bad brains too. I don't know why, I just never listened to dem -Spyz. I remember them, for sure. There were some things I never got around to and I know I missed out but it's kinda cool discovering some hella cool groove with a bent on an older era. ✌

Hey your fate was sealed How you chose to live your life was real While you played with fire Unaware that you crossed the fine line Time waits for no one When the pain that you feel Leaves you nowhere to run You pushed the button on the bomb today Took something special and you threw it away No time to turn back cause the damage is done You're bound to burn out if you reach for the sun No one felt your pain While you hid your tears that fell like rain Keeping to yourself While the world that's around you sits on a shelf Trying not to break From the life that you lead Taking all you could take You pushed the button on the bomb today Took something special and you threw it away No time to turn back cause the damage is done You're bound to burn out if you reach for the sun If there's a God above us Will He be there by your side? When you give back the life you're given Cause your spirit for living has died You pushed the button on the bomb today Took something special and you threw it away No time to turn back cause the damage is done You're bound to burn out if you reach for the sun Hey your fate was sealed How you chose to live your life was real

I can't thank you enough for putting this up in its entirety, Eddie, with an image of the case and disc - brought a rush of joy discovering it! This CD is very special to me from its original release, and I hadn't heard it in many years. As a black woman from a very musical family, my brothers steered me towards a lot of great hard rock/metal along with our shared love of soul. I was therefore very excited by this album wonderfully blending the genres - like the extraordinary Kings X, who are much beloved by my family as well. Long sigh...hearing some of these tracks again brought a tear to my eye, remembering...My many heartfelt thanks.
