I give up. Granted, I am very impatient, but I have NEVER seen anyone talk so much, for so long, about so many inconsequential things that you will figure out naturally ... I just cannot do it. She hit the 5 minute mark before even BEGINNING to talk about how to do this magic cast on. How stupid does she think we are? Will never make this hat if I have to sit through this.

I usually knit german short rows and a heel flap and gusset fits my foot better. But it’s not feasible when you do colorwork so I will definitely try this heel.

It looked really straightforward to you got into the short row thing completely. I do not understand. I’ll try to watch it a few times. I’m new knitter

I purchased the pattern. New to ravelry & downloading things. On the custumization page there are two blue boxes on the bottom. Are they to download when clicked on them? Nothing happens when I do. Also, I don't know how to get it into the library in ralvery. It's as if I didn't purchase it.

I’m watching this for the first time almost 1.5 years after you recorded it. I love the Musselburgh raglan that you talked about but I cannot find it on your website or Ravelry. Did you ever publish the pattern or did you publish it with a different name?

Bonjour, (sorry I don’t speak english) j’ai une question concernant le second tableau ( number of stiches in each of the 4 segments) : lorsque l’ont atteint le nombre de mailles indiqué ( par ex. 20 pour 7/B) cela veut dire que l’on a bien fait le nombre d’augmentations nécessaires ? Many thanks in advance !

I have just started number 14 in a year and a half. Like you said a great knit to keep our hands busy. I looked up the video because I didn't have a hook with me for the crochet cast on. Obviously I love this pattern. People in their 20s and 30s seem to love hat especially

Curious why you don’t knit the first stitch on each row!

Thank you, for this! Very good instruction and demonstration, but it is very difficult to understand what you are saying, in many places, because your words are obscured by the constant vocal fry, which is, typically, the result of bad enunciation habits. It is well worth the effort to learn speak without it as much as possible for giving verbal instruction, because, otherwise, you do it very well!

Thank you very much! Your tutorials are so helpful. I've stucked with the pattern which says to do short rows at the bottom of the sweater. For a beginner for whom this is the second sweater, I was at a loss how to proceed without mistakes, as there are so many stitches on the needles

Hello. Could you please do crown of the hat with a crochet hook. I get how to do the pin whole cast on. But once I put my crochet stitch’s on the knitting needles I don’t know where to go from there Then I have to increase. Knitty knotty has a tutorial with cast on with crochet hook. And then she transfers them to knitting needles. But that’s all she does because it is your pattern so she won’t do the rest to show what you do next. I get it. So could you do a pattern showing what you do next. Or maybe just the top of the hat with doing it with all the increases. Iam lost trying to do it. PLEASE. I WILL PAY FOR IT

There are so many of us out here that knit, and are machine knitters too. I have been knitting on my Passap and Brother for over 35 years here in Edmonton, AB. CA. Don’t worry about bringing your machine skills in. It is not cheating it takes skill to work a machine. I really have kept my MK and Hand Knitting skills separately this would be a golden opportunity to have both worlds join together. In the 70’s they said it was cheating because it was new and knitters didn’t understand how wonderful they are to learn. My husband really enjoyed his golf vests that I made on my machines. I am subscribed and I am looking forward to your coming patters and knowledge and advancement in joining Hand Knitting/Machine knitting together in some exciting patterns. You have my total support. ❤

I'm a bit confused. Re: the increase section rounds 5 and 6. Are we supposed to do an increase round then a knit round? I think the video showed that, but the pattern says Rnd 5 - inc. Rnd. *K2, m1l, k to 2 sts etc.. ...* 3 more times. Then round 6. Is it alternating increase rounds then a knit round or is it a 3 round increase then a knit round?

I'm knitting this heel second time in your Shadow Print Sock pattern and must say that the result is stunning! I love that there are no gaps no holes between the instep and heel. I am truly impressed how smoothly it all flows. I am very happy with the fit of this sock! Thank you so much!

I would find it helpful if you would give what the stitch count should be, i.e., how many stitches for a 32 stitch heel should you have after the second part of the heel. I’m not sure I quite understand how many stitches would be increased. Also, if the main color yarn is a self striping, then the striping width would be altered during the gusset decreases?
