To each his own. Heavy makeup has never been my style. I wore more when younger--as a fashion statement not coverup. I do my brows, mascara, light liner pencil on top lid and one tinted moisturizer for lip and cheeks--thats it. It enhances, doesn't cover, hide, change. Im 77 I feel I need makeup sometimes. I need hair dresser as well nowadays. It cheers me up. Appearence has become important for me as I get older. I don’t like makeup. I never have. I’ve tried. It’s just very uncomfortable on my skin. I also have rosacea, so it just irritates my skin more. I don’t hate anyone for wearing it, but I don’t think anyone really needs it. They need to like themselves as they are. I’m overweight, have a bad back, and have physical issues because of it, but I still won’t wear makeup. I figure with my situation, I have far more things to worry about.
