Do be extra careful in Laos! I was there for 2 weeks and let's just say.. some of the authorities aren't the most... honest. Stay safe, and keep on adventuring!

North east Thailand, we call it Korat. It's the poorest & hottest part of Thailand but the people are most friendly & happy. Most speak issan dialect which is same as Laos.

I threw my taichi suit into the washing machine after my first ride with it....became softer and more comfortable. Just remember to remove all the pads first

@AbgGSA4 күн бұрын
will it affect the waterproofing materials of the jacket?
@ganisenscouser68224 күн бұрын
@AbgGSA in the long run yes. But Taichi doesn't have a very sensitive gortex membrane like my klim. Taichi's waterproof material is more tolerant.... been using it for more than 5 years now. It's not as waterproof as it was new....but it still does the job quite decently till now.

Bangkok traffic lights is controlled by a policemen at each junction. They flick the switch as they wish 😂😂😂 based on their comms with other policemen at other junction to ease the traffic or if there is a VIP coming

You can both add a neck riding scaf and that will cure not only any neck abrasion but also you can use it as a head scaf and trust me that it will actually aid you when wearing helmet and reduce messy hair.

Thank you! 😁 Our HJC helmets are great for us so far. The weight is not too heavy so for long rides its good and the ventilation and cushion is just nice. Just a little fogging issue when raining. Overall is great 👍

I did check the prices for the same models of motorcycle gears between SG and Thailand. They seem to cost more but anyways the fit looks good. If you guys need more gear in the future, taobao has really high quality CE level 2 gears at a fractional of prices. Ride Safe:)

Hi can you share the pricing of the suits that u bought?
@dtoldtol6 күн бұрын
I’m assuming both your riding suits are water proof/ resistant. What I usually do is to not zip all the way up if the day is hot. At least get some airflow inside. Jacket sleeves over the gloves and not gloves over the sleeves when it rains. Coz water will flow into the gloves if your sleeves are tuck inside the gloves. I’m also surprised that both of you are not wearing riding suits and boots. They provide some protection to knees elbow and back. Good luck and enjoy the ride

You'll learn along the way but I am surprised you did not do more preparation back in Singapore for this kit. Good luck and you will be ok so long as your heart tells you to make it you will. Go Uniqlo and get some heat tech. Just make sure you get good proper rain suits. Cheaper never mind but get an extra set. it will be good as a wind breaker and keep you warm.

I own this very same taichi suit as well. Serving me well for more than 5 years. Good choice. A longer pant has an advantage....more comfortable when seated and goes 9ver your boot....even while seated. So it prevents less water from entering your boot. The knob thingy u were talking about for the boots....its called the Boa system. Taichi boots and klim boots mainly use this system.

May I make a suggestion that you start each video with what is your planned route for the day with a map to boot. I am interested to follow your entire route from Sg to Norway, and even why you choose a particular route. Afterall it is about the journey and do share with us the name or places that you stopover or visit as it tells a story of your journey. A video of a place with no name or introduction has no meaning. It is like a documentary without a narration. Thank you.
