Here are my thoughts on the cast’s pink carpet outfits! Carter I think she looks stunning! 🤩 I love the Sabrina quick-change and her outfits that pay tribute to Cady-they’re amazing. She absolutely nailed it! • Carpet fit: 9.5/10 • SWL: 9/10 • Other fits: 9/10 Glinda She looks amazing! 🤩 While the pink dress did clash a bit with the carpet (mostly due to the lighting), she was an absolute queen in that white dress! Her “World Burn” dress was also a fantastic choice. I especially loved her live quick change! • Carpet: 8/10 (Would’ve been 9/10 without the crown) • Interview/White dress: 9/10 • World Burn: 10/10 • (Not sure if she had any other outfits?) Martha Unfortunately, she really disappointed me. She was such an amazing Gretchen, but her looks didn’t do her justice. 😔 Her Anna-inspired fit felt like a ripoff of the movie version with only minor changes-it lacked uniqueness. The princess-themed outfits seemed out of place and didn’t highlight the event at all. Her interview outfit was okay, but I wasn’t a fan of the crown or the skirt. That said, I did love the MTP fit! • Carpet: 5/10 • Interview: 6/10 • MTP: 9/10 • Yellow dress: 7/10 Lily Lily only had one fit, inspired by Elsa. I liked that it was an “inspired by” look rather than a straight-up copy. However, I didn’t like her shoes or her hairstyle. • Overall: 7/10 Haar Haar looked okay-nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. • Overall: 7/10 XWiz You looked fine, but I wasn’t a fan of the mic you chose. • Overall: 8/10 These are just my personal opinions and thoughts. 🩷 MEAN GIRLS REVIEW! 🩷 (I'm not including myself cuz that's wrong lol) First of all I would like to say congratulations to the cast and crew you should all be really pleased with yourselves the work you have put in really shows and I appreciate it!! 🎬 PRODUCTION/EDITING 🎬 Production was outstanding. The lighting had a very effective touch but my favourite would have to be the sets (especially Regina's bedroom and World Burn) they all were beautiful replicas of the ones from the show and with the materials you had it was gorgeous. The editing was exquisite and had some really interesting features! Overall Production/editing - 9.8/10 ✨ CAST ✨ Cady played by Carter *overall a very solid performance the only big criticism I would give is turn and face the person who is talking to u (if it's 1 person) or if Ur in a group in the centre try to stay facing the audience soo u don't look a bit lost. But like I said overall well done (you should be very proud)* Overall: 8/10 Regina played by Glinda *Glinda did great, World Burn and Someone gets hurt were outstanding 👏🏻 just mainly watch your back isn't to the audience I know some bits you have to but when your talking to Cady just watch it. Glinda Congratulations what a performance!* Overall: 9.5/10 Janis played by Willow *idk what it was but to me willow looked lost in some areas, she had quite a few strong points aswell which helped her. During World Burn and where do you belong try move around a bit more so you don't space out from the action. Well done Willow Janis was a perfect part for you!* Overall: 8/10 Damian played by lily *omg I'm in stitches of laughter, C tale was beautiful and where do you belong was amazing. Try to use the animations to enhance your performance even more but what a lovely performance!* Overall: 8.9/10 Swings played by management *U all should be immensely proud, stepping into a character at a moments notice and giving an effective performance well done ✅* Overall: 9/10 Ensemble played by Ninja and Harr (with swings aswell) *great performance the moment you came in for it roars it looked amazing the way you all danced and moved around the stage was done in such a lovely way. 🩷Mean Girls Review (Pre-Screening)🩷 (I saw the pre- view and commented there but I also want my rating here!) I’m excited to share my thoughts on this production! I’ll dive into individual performances and technical aspects before giving an overall rating at the end. Editing: The editing stood out in a positive way. It effectively captured the mood of various scenes and characters, adding depth to the storytelling. For example, the camera shake during Cady’s dramatic “NOOO” was a great touch that heightened the tension. However, there were a few moments where the filming felt a bit off. For instance, certain props, like Cady’s bow, felt slightly distracting, and I can imagine how challenging filming must have been. That said, these issues weren’t significant enough to take away from the overall experience. Editing and Cuts Rating: 8/10 Regina (Played by Glinda): Regina is an iconic role, and Glinda, no stranger to commanding roles, did a great job bringing her to life. She embodied Regina’s character perfectly, and her performance in “World Burn” was solid, though it felt a little lacking in power. This might be due to the limitations of poses or staging. Her opening and ending were impressive, though I wish she had remained still in the final moments to give a stronger impact. Regardless, Glinda delivered a fantastic performance. Glinda’s Rating: 8.9/10 Cady (Played by Carter): Carter, who previously portrayed Elphaba, showed significant improvement in her acting. Her chemistry with Glinda made their partnership a highlight for the company. I particularly liked how her darker “Who’s House” outfit reflected Cady’s emotional descent. That said, I found her performance slightly lacking in emotional depth during some scenes, which could have elevated her character further. Carter’s Rating: 7/10 Janis (Played by Willow): Willow was a solid Janis, delivering a strong “I’d Rather Be Me.” However, her staging and profiles could have been sharper, as these details are crucial to making Janis stand out. Still, she was good in MTP and C Tale, and her talent is undeniable. Willow’s Rating: 7/10 Gretchen (Played by Martha): Martha’s portrayal of Gretchen was heartfelt and memorable. Her performance in “What’s Wrong With Me” was a standout, especially with the subtle symbolism of Cady being in the background, distracted by her phone. She delivered her lines with great emotion and precision. Martha’s Rating: 8/10 Damian (Played by Lily): Lily did well as Damian, demonstrating solid acting skills. However, there were moments where she seemed a bit uncertain during the choreography. Despite this, her energy and dedication to the role were evident, making her a good fit for the character. Lily’s Rating: 7/10 Ensemble: While I won’t rate the ensemble individually, they added a lot of energy and cohesion to the production, making it a truly enjoyable experience overall. Final Overall Rating: 9.5/10 This was a fantastic production, filled with strong performances, creative editing, and excellent attention to detail. A must-watch for fans of Mean Girls!
