2:55 I think they changed their production process since. Lips ordered from them in 2021 were not deburred.

Or, hear me out, you can simply drive with the lips on car in a few canadian winters and see the result. Having seen bbs rs that have been run through the winter, the results of the raw/uncoated ff aluminum lips will not be great.

Killer setup with the robot arm, manually deburring holes of that number go the next step and use a back chamfering tool on the CNC. Free's up time to do something else.

Hello, I feel very sorry for the lost lips. You should not show them on the movie especially that they were left in such a popular place. The machining process of your products is impressive however this test isn't. We all know that rust or staining is a metal oxide. It is usually redish iron oxide formed by the redox reaction of iron and oxygen in the presence of water or air moisture. In your test by submerging the tested object under the water you do not allow oxygen to get into the material and act as an reagent. I recommend you to look into industrial standards for accelerated corrosion test e.g. salt water spray test.

Leave any piece of metal under sea salt water ( or any comparable salt water ) and it will be rusted in no time. Maybe air will help , but it's guaranteed it will rust even with no air at all.
