Seen VH with Gary III times and loved every show. Gary sang the VH classics with ease and his stage performance was a breath of fresh air. Sadly, not all fans agreed and it was the end of Gary. But at least we got wolfie and Dave back in the band. 🤷🏽😳🤷🏽

Ed could still play here. Before the booze took him out . Crisp and clean . Sound that can cut through diamond

the vh 3 tour was amazing...so many great songs that hadn't been performed in years, and gary sang them well. its too bad the 3 album was eclectic and experimental.

i remember being shocked that mtv in america played this gig, and also the push that mtv in america still gave vh then. without you was in solid rotation, and fire in the hole still got played a bit. fans just didn't bite for vh with cherone, and the tour suffered...but for those who saw it, i never heard one bad review. they played a ton of roth material that hadn't been played in years, and gary was an amazing live performer.

That stupid wire hanger pole on Ed’s guitar has to be drunk thinking. Once you’ve played with wireless a cable sucks. It’s like being a dog ties to a tree. Everyone else was wireless because it’s so much better. Even if that thing kept Ed from stepping on his cable everyone else on stage has to watch out to not step on it. My setup is in a 18x20 room and use a wireless. I even got one of those little cheap mini wireless systems to use with my spark mini amp. I can’t hear a difference between my decent sure system and the $50 mini wireless and a cable. The expensive pro systems don’t have any issues with interference, drop out or latency. He must have been pretty fucked up to drill a big hole in his guitars for that dumb post to use a cable. He went back to wireless when he sobered up.

Don't get me wrong, I love DLR, but he was lazy with vocals live. Killer in the studio though, and this is by far my favorite VH song, but Gary does a pretty nice job here overall.
