I love the look of the tilting shade over the zebra, and I never thought of the bug issue with the silhouettes! The Norman one looks great, but there are no dealers near me :(

Great video and good explanations of things others skip over- question. I would like to run the home runs to the basement under the windows but it is a drop ceiling. Can this be mounted in the ceiling rafters above the drop ceiling? So to set the control box horizontally vs vertically in the wall?

As long as you have power available for the power panel and are able to run the wires to each window, it shouldn't be a problem. I'd recommend checking with your local window covering provider first in case their power panel has different specifications.

This is great. Would love to know the cost of it. Do you ship? Can it cover a window enclosure that is 8 feet high x 6 feet wide?

When you say 1” in do you mean from the back or from the front? So closer to the glass or to the room interior? @southwestblindsandshutters

We suggest 1" in from the back of the glass, closer to the glass. You'll need room to mount the shade brackets, shade, and top treatment. In Arizona and Las Vegas, most homes have 3"-4" of depth so you have limited space. The depth of the window covering varies by window covering type so that will need to be considered as well.

how is this style as far as being stable with temperature chances. Having the inside of you're house stable is one thing. but I'm worried about the Hot Sun beating down on them. I guess that would depend on the quality of window you have?
