Great video, nice bike. Is there a markup for the fancy paint finish? Is that a project one program finish?

7.62 kg isn't light for a "do everything racing bike" at this price range. The new Pinarello Dogma F and the S-works Tarmac sl8 are both around 6.6 kg at this spec level.

Beautiful bike, yet an ugly Madone. And less aero. And heavier than the Emonda. And they had 3 years to address the market so that this wouldn't happen. At least Madone and Emonda fans now have something in common: We're disappointed.

@larryhouse37762 ай бұрын
I understand your complaint. I run a two bottle set up in my frame. But for the sake of the debate, there are other ways to carry water. Water packs, handle bar mounts, frame mounts, I even use a waist bag, the Klim Scramblepack, and that thing is a beauty that can hold two bottles aswell.

Cool bike, but they should stop acting like they're the first to come up with this genius idea of making a combined aero and lightweight bike. Also this 18k dollar bike weighs the same as my non s-works sl7 so maybe buy one of those then spend the rest on a nice vacation somewhere to ride it.

I don’t believe many of the aero claims. Fact is Trek is hurting financially and had to reduce its product line. I doubt the previous Madones were any faster. Fit is more importanter.

The bottom bracket is a big deal, because if is poor quality or poorly designed, it can render your expensive bicycle useless, some bloggers don't recommend the T47a bottom bracket that comes on this bicycle. Why nobody addresses this issue in the reviews?

You say it gives you a percentage of the wattage you’re putting in ? However the bike doesn’t not have a power meter. It has a power algorithm that is off 80w at 200w of off 40%. Treks only answer rather than say they are working to better correct the algorithm they said “at least the algorithm is consistent”. Forgetting that all training data is based off rider effort forcing the buyer to purchased a pair of power meter pedals which they will not contribute to despite their admission of this clearing fault. I bought this bike for recovery rides and Zone 2 long rides, it’s unfortunate that the rides cannot be accurately evaluated. Extreme disappointment in Trek but I do notice that they just dropped the price $4000 karma eh ! Oh and did I mention I’m on my second motor after less than 500km.

This dude has some of the worst public speaking I've ever seen in a bike review. Like he's never been coached on vocal cadence -- and he enunciates all the wrong syllables -- actually, he interjects himself --- actually, he skips around and can't form a complete sentence. Like holy shit bro. You're supposed to be reviewing bikes and you can't speak in public?
