Love the van the van the came round our way was a bedford cf mr whippy in 1974 these vans had two diesel engines one in the rear to drive the whippy icecream machine and freezer

First van I drove was one of these. I can still remember the smell of the TVO when the rear engine ran up, and, having to wait for ages for the machine to deliver ice cream to the cone ! 😂. Great memories ❤️

Looks like we got ourselves a convoy. A lovely tune on the 7th of June and the vans all start the chiming, the phone was ringing the boss called up and said it was very good timing, down the pass off they go with their big bulky sick ass jeep, the icecream man had ale in his hand and he knew he was being tailed, the cop walked towards the ice cream man with his hat cuffs and glasses galore, the guy knew what he was pulled over for he just had to follow the law. We got a great big convoy driving through the night. Join our truckin convoy aint she a beautiful sight convoy
