Thanks ! Maybe Duck Tape would stop any tearing in the Tarp.

Greetings from the Future! I just picked one of these up a few days ago. How has yours held up over the last couple years? Many thanks from FL.

are these foldable tank resistant so that they can be placed outdoors ? is it mandatory to put a fitting in the hole of the tarp ? what happen if I don't put a fitting and make a simple hole in the centre ?

Because the foldables are flexible they can be used year round outside. Unlike the black plastic tank you see in the back. It has to be winterized / emptied during winter or when the water freezes inside, it'll crack the tank. Foldable tanks are flexible, so they won't crack when the water freezes. As for the tarp over it, you can play around with many other methods of how to catch rain water. This is the cheapest method I've seen so far. I put a fitting in the center hole simply to help filter debris. But the fitting is not necessary.
