How are these underfoot? Are they actually flat? I have some Boulder Boot Grips and didn't realize that they had an 8mm eva midsole when I got them. That crushed over a few months and created a massive negative drop in the heel making it so I am standing on my arches. I thought they'd be more like the regular Boulder boots, you know, minimal, but not so much. I should have gone with the plain Boulder Boot Waterproof. Live and learn, oh well. Thanks in advance if you get a chance to answer.
@CoachHelder2 күн бұрын
Hello, these do have a zero-drop sole. I also tend to remove the insoles on all my Lems to give make them a bit more minimalist. I hope that info helps and have a great day!

Sorry Coach you wasted your money and sadly many others on here will too.. I used the piece of copper pipe in the skimmer method many years ago and yes it works, no electricity needed, never any algae at all. However about 10 years ago I discovered Copper Sulfate and started using it. I have a 13k pool and use 1 tablespoon diluted a month. Never ever have I had any Algae since. No green hair, no pool stains on my gunite pool here in Florida. Stop listening to these people who don't have a clue, maybe they work for pool companies or don't even have a pool. So may gimmicks when this is the easiest cost effective solution out there.. Look at the ingredients of most pool Algaecides 5-7% Copper Sulfate. When you buy Copper Sulfate small crystals (Amazon, eBay) and dissolve it, it is 20% concentrate so don't think 1 tablespoon a month is to little, adjust if your pool is larger. That is all you need and you'll NEVER have Algae again. The key is Don't over do it thinking more is better, it's not. It does reduce the amount of Chlorine you use but not by a significant amount. Do the research, stop wasting your money.

Thanks for sharing. To be honest, I do a great deal of research. Not sure why you thought that I did not do my DD. For less than $100, I throw a device into my pool. I leave it in a week, more or less, check my copper reading and if it's good to go... I take it out. I am then done for the season. That has been my SOP for 6 years now, dividing that (sub $100 investment) into 6 and counting... I'm pretty happy with my research, recommendations to subscibers, and my initial investment. So, you are happy with what you do and I am too. Enjoy your day, Florida is awesome and Cheers my friend. 🍻

Do you keep it in the pool at all times ?

Hello, once I get the proper copper reading, using a copper test kit, I take it out of the pool. You do not want the copper level to get too high.

Good review. 👍👍 You also taught me what OCP stood for; appreciate THAT!! 👍👍🤝 (I'm non-military) I'm a private security professional, for the last 30 years, and I went on a spree these past couple of months, buying a bunch of different boots, some to replace tactical boots I've been wearing for many years, and need to be put out to pasture, lol. Coach, please keep in mind how many women's clothes don't have pockets or don't have sufficiently deep pockets. This is good advice, but women will need to have different tactics depending on what they are wearing. Maybe tucking it in the bra or waistband would be a good option?
@CoachHelderАй бұрын
The bra and waistband are definitely viable options. The important thing is to practice as often as possible, deploying the pen from wherever place that you choose to carry it from. Perfect practice makes perfect!

Last you May 2023, the first one I received did not work. Took me forever to get the item returned and I then received a new one. It worked great. At the end of summer, I cleaned it, dried it, put it back in it's original box. Now, May 2024, it will not charge. I contacted the company and I am supposed to get a new battery. This is absolutely ridiculous for the price of this item. I did ask if this battery would work longer than one season but never received an answer. So, I would spend more money on another pool vacuum that would work right when you receive it.
@CoachHelderАй бұрын
Sorry to hear that. I've used mine a few times per week, over the past month. I haven't noticed any change in the battery or the performance of this vacuum. I fefinitely agree that for this price-point, the issues should be at a minimal. Keep me posted and I hope that things go better for you so that you can enjoy this summer; as you know, it goes quickly. Im sure that's at least a partial reason why we invested in this robot.
