I agree. I just got mine. The sounds are mesmerizingly beautiful. I always longed for the Zawinul Rhodes flange sound on A Remark you Made, and this little genius box gives me that! I think I need to buy a couple in case one breaks.

Thanks for your videos. I bought one and am working through it. Right now the problem I have is turning on the FX. When I turn unit on all my previous settings are kept but the fx are off. When I go to FX edit it says "off" but I can only get it to turn off after many actions of restarting speaker and app and reconnecting, etc etc. There is no clear pattern that I've found. All other functions on the Effects edit page work...just a pain in the ass to turn them on each time. I may return it and try a replacement unit... if I decide to even keep it. I like the Everse 8 for many reasons but may have to compare to the Roland Street Cube X. I have the old Street Cube which is pretty good.

Thank you! You have just saved me some money. I was set on the 412. My friends have the Bose S1, and the 412 (and Mackie Thump 12 & 15) which ive listened to. Ive been switching between them all as purchases for ages. But space is an issue for me (speaker size) and I already have a 4 channel mixer for eq and FX reverb to bring out the full sound of the 408. 408 it is!

First tip acoustic piano: I shut my keyboard off and try to choose between those sounds with the knob. But when I turned it on, it goes to one of those selected choices on the knob dial.

Smooth playing :) Very nice comparison between the two. EV is really good! I am an indian classical keyboard artiste and i am planning on the EV, connecting it with a mixer and have a 3 piece indian instruments band running with ev for chamber events. Couple of questions - 1. Have u tried connecting this with a mixer? If yes, did it go thru the aux port or the main channels? 2. Is the speaker able to playback stereo audio without loss of panned samples? Thank you for sharing this with us :)

does TS408 have basic effects like echo/reverb, chorus etc.? If not onboard - can this be done via the app? I think Alto Busker have Alexis FX that has reverb. Not sure if Alto Busker app and TS408 app is the same app?
