The video is actually very very helpful. Yes the phone has to be powered off. Let the battery run of out power and the phone will shut down. then charge it. power it on using the power button and the up volume scroll down to factory reset reboot the phone from the same screen

My dad lost his s pen for his Samsung Galaxy S tab 7 I had a spare s pen from another galaxy s tab 7 And for the life of me I cannot get it to connect to his tablet it just says the pen is ready and none of the wireless features work And in the three dots options there is no reset s pen You can still draw and do stuff with it but I don't think it's being charged or anything and I don't think it's actually connected to the tablet Thank you great video but it does not resolve the problem that I am having
