When you turn it off, it drains out of the holes in the bottom of the bowl. Solids stick to the wall and you scrape them off.

It comes out perfectly clean. No clue, but now I am using a WVO Designs one. They work EXCELLENT! www.wvodesigns.com/raw-power-centrifuge.html.html I actually have one for sale too. I acquired a second as a backup, but my first one is never going to die. lol

enjoyed the video. for a WMO recycling project I want to install a brass bulkhead into a barrel so I can control the draining from the bottom to the centrifuge. I figure the brass will hold up better than plastic. it comes with a washer but will it seal better if I use something like JB Weld on it? or is it unnecessary? I'm concerned about the effect of petroleum on the bulkhead and seal. thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Ya should really invest in a cone bottom tank you'll love how much it works. I is it for both wvo and wmo and heat it while it settles in the cone drain bottom then to a 5 micron with water blocker to a 1 micron filer so clean.

Cone tanks are cool....but honestly then stuff is crystal clear...I don't think anything could get it cleaner...yet to ever see cleaner oil.... Maybe it would but either way, this oil is plenty clean

@@konstantinosfotiadis o no dought I was saying it bc in your one video ya said it was very tight with a lot of drums for setting. I put mine in the cone and heat it for 2days at 115 let it settling for a while can you wouldn't believe the separation and east cleaning open valve and not but junk comes out iv had a drum bottom eat away on me and the mess it made so pist. But love your videos keep it up this art form is fading away.all them guppies these days

Probably 32oz on this one...I ran it at 8 gallons per hour...depends on how dirty you input is and how clean you want your output

have you ever compared your end product with some bechmark in filtered used vegge oil ? i am thinking of designing and optimising a filteration system for used vegge oils for biodiesel production for my masters thesis.
