Hi Baz, I dropped you an email. I'd be interested in 2 or 3 of those units, as I've got an Atomos Shogun Studio 2, that basically has zero remote control options apart from LANC or RS422. If this box basically emulates a HyperDeck, that would give me full Bitfocus Companion support.

I noticed that you were building the Arduino Blackmagic SDI hat assembly with the intention to use WiFi. How did it go in the end? There doesn't seem to be any followup on this.

@@alantownsend9576Have you heard Stevie play piano? It ain’t good!! She had some songwriting talent, but didn’t have the chops to bring a song to life, to its full potential . What she did have was a genius of a guitar player in the band who would finish her songs. Christine though, was the full package. She was trained, she could really play, sing and write.
@alantownsend95766 ай бұрын
@@ArtieFufkin546 Christine was not an interesting or imaginative person. She was a likeable but average trans woman making her way through the world with mediocre abilities. Her songwriting was pedestrian, her singing voice often flat-to-whiney and she lacked creativity, particularly during live performances. Poor thing - she just could never compete with Stevie and to her credit, never tried. Lindsey Buckingham is renowned for being egotistical, misogynistic and a one trick pony. He was not the 'architect' of Fleetwood Mac's sound - he actually dragged many of the songs down with his synthetic, laboured approach and generic guitar skills - oh so boring honey! All of the band members should be kissing Stevie's platform boots because she elevated them to their peak success and kept them relevant for as long as she could be bothered. Stevie just had to cut the apron strings at some point and leave those other non-entities in the dirt where they belong. Thank goodness for Stevie's genius, beauty and altruistic ways - she really is a saint sent from Heaven. Love you 4-eva Miss Stephanie!

No, she wasn't.

I have been wondering that myself. Guess we will never truly know. My guess is that she was just a masculine tomboy type non trans woman. The very first time i heard You Make Loving fun, way back in the 70s i thought it was a man who sang it. It wasn't until i bought rumours , around 1980 or so, is when i saw who wrote what songs and assumed the person who wrote the song sang the song. So I figured that the person named Christine Mcvie was a woman just by name itself. I was too young to know much about trans back then.

Christine sounds great, but Stevie sounds like she's out of tune. But like you said, it was live, and long before Autotune.

Stevie's singing in a high register which sounds a little odd. It wasn't long after this until she started singing in a lower register - which sounded much more natural ❤

I’ve seen them Live but I’m too young to have seen them this early on in their long run. I’ve never seen Christine that energetic, jumping around behind her keyboard. I would imagine that would not be something a keyboardist could easily do regularly and still play accurately and it would probably be hard on the wrists and fingers. Sisterhood was into it here! Stevie dancing around behind Christine just adds to the energy.

My favorite song from generation two of Fleetwood Mac. What an outstanding performance. They were pretty much coked up to the max in this era and the evidence can clearly be seen & heard in Fleetwood's demolition job on his drum kit. Awesome. I don't believe there is any other high profile rock band in history who have/had the dynamics within members as Fleetwood had. 2 couples on stage with a percussionist mediating...it was INSANE..no wonder the uploader LefflerPost has many stories from this concert...how many other bands in history had the same dynamics as Fleetwood Mac? Few if not one...which made for psychological mayhem...both couples were going through so much turmoil off-stage...Buckingham & Nicks wouldn't get married, and the McVie's desperately wanted to stay married but there was just so much drama going on...and Mick Fleetwood was simply following the leads of both couples - the legend has been married 3 times...talk about fodder for journalists...And yet all the dramas going on off-stage seemed to somehow dissipate when they were on-stage...what psychologist could work that out? Freud would have made a book out of it...here's his final conclusion: 'I can categorically state; the relationships and dynamics amongst all members of Fleetwood Mac is ??? Merely 'RUMOURS'...
