Bought the series 10 jet black, coming from a black space grey series 6 and it felt great, definitely felt the upgrade but it didn’t feel enough. Returned the series 10 and got the ultra 2, no complaints

You tend to wear a watch on the opposite dominate hand. Also most artsy people tend to be left handers. Take a look at at movies most actors/actresses tend to be left handed. Always exceptions to the rule though. The theory behind this is its easier to look at a watch while your doing something with your dominate hand.

I’m a lefty and I use to wear my watch on my left wrist but now I’ve come accustomed to wearing it on the right. I don’t think it makes much of a difference though. I just got mine yesterday and it is a beautiful watch. I went back to the Apple Watch after using a Garmin Epix Pro for a year. Awesome review.

It was time for me to trade in my series 6 for an Ultra. I went to the Apple Store with the black version as my first choice. That quickly changed after seeing it in person and on my wrist. I just found it to be extremely bland compared to the natural version. It kept reminding me of my Garmin watch. I purchased the natural version and I love it! 😉

I have first ultra and I have money but is it stupid just to update because of color? There is no much difference between 1 and 2

The question I ask myself is how robust is this black coating? Because that is what it is. I saw a test where the watch was dropped on a stone floor. It survived that well, but you could see slight marks on one corner and the original titanium was re-appearing at the impact points. So I think the watch is more sensitive in this respect, but it looks nice.

Hej! Tip: use the black 46mm solo loop band then there are no issues when preforming office duties. I use the black trail loop band except when I run, bike, or need to work in an office setting i use the black solo loop band. Super comfortable. I wear the Black Ultra on the left and the Garmin Tactix 7 Pro on the right but if I wear only one device it would only be on the right wrist.

I have this Ultra 2 and I prefer this colour. I have also ordered the titanium strap which will arrive next month. This Watch looks better than the original. One function I do like is how the Watch automatically changes to night mode which is brilliant.

Best review I’ve seen on the new black Ultra 2. I’m considering the Hermes Ultra 2 to match my iPhone 15 pro in blue titanium. If I went for the black U2 I’d have to buy the iPhone 16/16pro in black, costing more 💰 look forward to trying out in store.

I also miss the orange band option! Hopefully they will release them for the black watch in the future. Had the orange Alpine loop on my Series 1- I don’t think there was ever an orange trail loop released- that would be great.

Diamond like coating (DLC) is prone to scratching and revealing the base metal underneath. If in doubt check out high end watches that have had this process done after several months of daily wearing. It’s not a process which is unique to Apple.
