Slayer, Sepultura, Anthrax, and Maiden so far. You may want to check out early American hardcore punk as it influenced thrash metal. Generally not as technical but still ferocious. A Bad Brains cover just might be up your alley. Cheers!

A drum cover of a cover by Anthrax originally by Joe Jackson. So weird that this is a Joe Jackson song. All Anthrax did was speed it up just a bit. Just like when Metallica covered Queen. All that being said you killed it.
