Why is it magic? It is just an efficiency optimization of a pure electric arbitrary variable transmission where the combustion engine would exclusively drive a generator converting to electric power and this then would drive a electric traction motor with variable speed.

I have a Chevy Tahoe that won’t start because transmission will not spin the engine. The MG1 is spinning inside the transmission but engine will not spin to start the vehicle

I just completed my driving test in a manual car :D

confusing as you say "gas" "air" "liquid" "refrigerant". you do not specify if they are all the same fluid gong through state change, or which fluids are going through state change, whats ambient air vs sealed in the system, etc.

That's not a transmission it's just the clutch pad.
