Looks to be a LOVELY Hotel & area!!! When the time is right, I would like to take my family there for a few days. It's not 100 miles from where we live (between Altnabreac & Halkirk).

Indeed I went over two days during summer and the drone was being blown everywhere lol ill try again in summer but I think its just a blusty location the way the wind blows down there, the noise of the water is deafening to.

there is a small lay by just by the path that leads you to the falls on the main road you just need to park up in there . the walk is easy enough but if its been wet it can be slippery . i pm pm you the route i took to it . i editing the video just now of other trip up there .

I think Historic Scotland are cracking down on drones over flying their properties for whatever reason. The security guy in the shop said he loved seeing aerial video of the place but he had to kinda toe the party line on the official take on it. I took off from the beach area to the right side of the castle and flew from there. If anyone had approached me and officially asked me to stop flying, I would have. But the day I was there no one did. (y)

Thanks Glasgow urban wildlife! tomstrb, these are 'standalone' as the name suggests. No wiring involved, they have a tiny battery already fitted to them which you can charge with a micro USB cable. All you do is stick them on your quad and switch them on.

Thanks. I was quite pleased with the lack of jello too, considering I just used a simple Velcro strip to attach it. I have balanced the props and carried out the double washer modification so maybe that explains it to a degree. the Foxeer is an excellent little camera, I'm finding.
