First half made me melancholic, mourning a gay world that once was. A world I never witnessed, because I was a kid in the 1970s. Second half made me sad and proud: gay men and lesbian women battling the aids crisis. The generation of sexually active homosexuals, paid a high price for the sexual freedom of the 1970s. Stanley Stellar says it right: "What we (gay men and women) all share is a beautiful, wonderful uniqueness and a strength, that deserves to be honored.We deserve to honor each other, we deserve to love each other. We evolved to not being a secret". For me that's the true meaning of Pride.

I wish I was old enough to experience the real type of cruising that was going on back then because it's not like it today it's frowned upon and I would have been in my element cuz I do love outdoor sex and fucking taking loads and my first time I saw that scene was in that Al Pacino movie cruising and then I started looking up more about it and wish I could have experienced that because I probably wouldn't be so sexually. When he went back he had a lot of money and he lived like a king down there . I've never been there but I always wanted to visit
