Lived here all my life. Now I’m living in a van here. It sucks here don’t come. There’s NO costal parking. The council has F’d this town for a decade. There’s no campsites so you definitely will be on the street a mile away from the beach. We have the worst history of drug addicts too so that’s a fun fact. This is the most unwelcoming town for campervans in the UK.

£44 for a for a campervan /Conversion van is extortioner as well . And campsites wonder why people want to wild camp I remember as a kid at being around 10 to 15 quid a night for a four caravan . And there was five of us and an awning. .

Everyone harps on about Digbeth, but it's still a rough hovel thats overpriced and overhyped. A few people i know own a few spots down there and it all seems done on the cheap tbh. Town is mostly the same bar a few parts that have come good. The market is a joke and the high streets are finished.

We are ate at No 1 when we were in UK 2022. We stayed next door above Martha’s Coffee House. Martha’s also has an excellent breakfast. We’re already have the AirBnb reserved for this coming Autumn Thanks for the video.

Glad you enjoyed the Anne of cleves. Was my local when I lived in Melton. I’ve had many cleves burgers in my time. (Got to have bacon on top though) Melton has declined in recent years but Dickinsons and Morris are currently extending the pork pie shop to have a cafe which hopefully will bring some much needed development to the bell centre which is desperately needed. Just so you know if you go back all Melton Borough council car parks offer parking for van/motorhomes and all public council car parks are free after 6 and all day on Sunday) The one where you parked is probably the best offering as it’s only one of 3 long stays. The Museum is a good walk around too across the road from Morrisons. (And yes everyone in Melton agrees the Morrisons shop is small and needs some work - there are leaks everywhere and very little offering for a modern supermarket)
