Do you know if there is an insulation kit that goes with the Nest Condor xl?
@MarcusDPorter13 күн бұрын
It’s not an insulation kit that I know of but it holds up well especially with that hard backing shell! It will get cold and hot in the tent but you can get a portable heater or ac unit and put in the tent or run a hose to the tent to keep you cool or warm when you sleep! You also have heating blankets and sleeping bags which I have to keep me warm in cooler months!

You may need a fresh fluids change on your oil and transmission. That’s a tell tale sign usually if you’re finding a hard time finding neutral. All the way down and half way up for your neutral. Another thing, if you’re having a hard time with bumps with the 17 and 16 rims then it’s gonna really be rough with the 21 and 18 wheels

One year update? How is it holding up?
@MarcusDPorter8 ай бұрын
Still holding up good1 I have noticed it peeling on the top of the rooftop tent. It's like it's bubbling or something. I'm not sure if its the paint or clear weather coating coming off or if I just forgot to take the plastic off. not sure. I just noticed it when I stand on the balcony. Another issue i've seen it a little rust on the rim of the tent. There is like some type of rubber protector around the rim of the tent and a piece is chip or missing and start to see a little rust. Lastly there was a small hole in the sky roof and I'm really careful about my stuff and just don't know how a little hole got there in the window screen! But other than that, it still works and still sleeps good still rides on the truck good. No other problems major!

@MarcusDPorter8 ай бұрын
Yeah it was just a little baby powder but the city never be ready for it and people don't know how to drive in it. But the folks from the north or from these types of snow dustings know how to drive in this like aint no body's business. When we drive in it, everybody act like they can handle it and wind up on the side of the road in a ditch. It's crazy here bruhh lol

Yeah I know right lol😂😂😂😂😂 We don't know how to act in the south when we get snow. It's like a magical thing down here because we don't get it but one day out of the year. But when it does come we go bananas LOL

@MarcusDPorter8 ай бұрын
Yeah, but we get all 4 seasons. It does get a little toasty here from June to Mid September. We just be trying to make it through those months! But every year we get at least one snow day that comes and when it does come, the city is never prepared for it so we're usually shut down for at least a week. The people from the north laugh at us all the time. LOL 😂

Tire pressure will always read a little lower on vehicle guage when it’s cold out big dog! Just fyi
@MarcusDPorter8 ай бұрын
Yeah that's true. I was trying to get the tire pressure back up. Wasn't sure if it's suppose to stay like that during the cold and then when it gets warm you let some air out to adjust for the hotter months. I believe that's what I was doing. Just wanted to have some air in them when riding on the snow, if that's correct! Let me know

Enjoyed the video Marcus. I bought a 2013 Ultra Limited from Southern Thunder in 2016. I traded it in on a 2018 Ultra Limited at Bumpus Jackson. Take your time and test ride as many as you can to figure out what you want. Sounds like you're leaning toward the Road King. I subscribed to follow along on your journey.

Bought my heritage three years ago it’s a 2006 started with 13,000 on the odometer paid 65+ financing for it put 3900 down on it I recommend watching lots and lots of videos on KZbin to familiarize yourself with Harley and the positives and negatives to better prepare yourself purchasing one so that you know what you’re looking at there’s plenty on KZbin to look at that will inform you on the different engines the different quirks of each motorcycle and good luck. I’ve been riding for a lot of years and I don’t think I would’ve made a different choice I made three years ago I have had a few small expenses fixing minor stuff even if I dropped 1000’s of dollars fixing things it would still be cheaper for me than buying a vehicle in the tens of thousands of dollars I get a lot of enjoyment on this bike it’s fast it’s loud it’s everything that I was looking for good luck on your adventure. Good video.
