Guard dog or not the dog should have been taught not to lash out on someone deemed welcome or they should have at least warned ya about his tendencies and not to pet him if he's known to do that

Bought a little 2 bedroom bungalow next to speedway in 09. Everyone I knew said “don’t buy it, waste of time”. Old couple living in a nursing home wanted to unload it and needed the cash. I offered $25k (all I had). They turn me down. The following week husband had heart attack and they took the offer just to be done with it. As luck would have it, a tree fell on the house after I bought it and the insurance company messed up bigtime as they had wrote the homeowners as full replacement instead of “market value”. Agent said the company was pissed they missed the oversight but they had to replace it all. Learned a valuable lesson. Never take financial advice from anyone who has less then you, but follow your heart. (And yeah I got the Obama 10% tax rebate $2,500, and $1750 first time buyers). Best $21k I ever spent. Your mileage may very. Peace.

I’ve never seen so much white privilege I’m a video in my life… these are the neighborhoods you absolutely want to invest in long term. You can get the properties at rock bottom prices now and in 10-20 years they’ll be the next up and coming neighborhoods and you’ll get your investment back ten fold

I couldn't agree more. Has history taught us nothing? These "No Zone" areas are exactly were monies need to be invested for two reasons. One, it can and will positively impact most of the people living in the No Zone areas immediately. Two, Indianapolis has a history of No Zone areas that have been and can be turned around. It simple takes the right motivation, the mind set and right amount of money. BTW, I currently live in the Old North Side of Indianapolis. Forty five years ago the ONS was a No Zone area. That along with the several useless acres of land (then a No Zone) I purchased in 1989 Pike Township...great buy.
