I’m not having that issue, I have heard some drivers are where their dispatcher are only giving them heavy loads

@@YourAverageMile Not sure how you're doing it, but glad you're not having that issue. I didn't even realize dispatchers were still used, to search that is. I was referring to the load board. I was about to go over to SE until I downloaded the load board app. I look almost on a daily basis on the Eastern half of the US, all I see is max heavy and cheap loads. $1.40-$1.65 avg.

Let me help you understand. Speed limits are set based on perfect conditions. That doesn’t mean you should go exactly that speed limit. Based on California with their 55 mph. That’s set like like to lower pollution in their state since their border is surrounded by high mountain tops. Smog sits low to the ground and the wind can’t really blow it anywhere because of those mountains. That’s why they have all those regulations. It’s not crap or bs it’s something to make people safe in California. Now on the whole driving 70 mph thing. If you want to think that, that’s better for you then go right ahead. But I’ve done the numbers and driving at 62 miles per hour does save a driver up to $1300 a week in fuel cost. I rather save money then have it go out of my exhaust pipe. I’m running a business not try to see how fast I can get somewhere. Also if I wanted to I could go 80mhp since that’s where my truck is capped to.

I’m not doing that because I’m not going to get paid, I’m doing that because that’s how I drive. Saftey is always first. My mpg be between 9-13 depending on on the weight of the load
