Comparing a c8 to a z06 is not a valid comparison. The c8 has been out much longer and they made 160k of them. Versus like 6k z06s. You can also walk into a dealer and get 10% off leftover 2024s... Versus having to wait a year for a z06 and probably paying a markup over sticker. A much more valid discussion would be looking at 2021 c8s and comparing pure base model c8 with a 63k sticker versus a fully loaded vert z51 3lt with every carbon fiber trim box ticked that had a sticker of 100k and seeing what those sell for today and discussing how much of your money you might get back today

You guys should check out the Christopher Ward collection that has a design influence and piece of some of the most iconic cars from history. I think there was 4 may have been 1 or 2 more. There was definitely one inspired by the Ferrari 250 GTO, a Jaguar D-type and Ford GT40. I have the C9GT40, and has a bit of one of the knock off wheel nuts in the back from the chassis that won the 66 and 67 le mans 24 hours. They were all really cool watches with a part of history actually in them....they were released about 10 years ago with very limited numbers not sure you'll find one for sale today. There was only 40 of the C9GT40 for example

I paid on a used RV for four years and still had to make up five grand in negative equity when I sold it, that was in 2022… Only upside I had a place to live and park during that time and my only expenses were gas occasionally, time to dump the tanks occasionally, and a few repairs. Definitely came out on top but one major repair could or screwed me. It was surprisingly easy to get financed on it though, I did $2500 down payment on a 55k loan at 3.99 APR (15years)

It changed in 2024 if you transfer to dealer they won't come back after the dealer nor the taxpayer if they don't have enough in liability as long as you are under the income cap. It is only nonrefundable if you don't transfer now. "If you do not transfer the credit, it is nonrefundable when you file your taxes, so you can't get back more on the credit than you owe in taxes."

Owning an electric vehicle is immoral. You're not saving the planet. If anyone believes getting credits from the government goes to the country with the mines and slave labor, is either naive or without any values and morals. You are reinforcing the massive problem.

It's the same process as running a big boost turbo drift car in terms of heat management. I like flames as much as the next man. In fact this has made my ICE cars more extreme as they only do drives on long distances or silly stuff.

Also with how fast the tech is changing I wouldn’t be buying an EV. Lease all day. I leased an Ionic 5 and it’s already changed battery tech and the charging port in just 2 years.
@reflex86982 күн бұрын
This is also a huge point that I haven’t heard talked about or brought up really. All car technology changes rapidly, but for traditional ICE it’s mostly things like infotainment or UI. Like you said, for EVs it’s the actual underpinnings of the vehicle and engineering behind it that are changing rapidly, which in my opinion is much more significant.

In my opinion, it's not what the algorithm wants, it's what people want to listen to. Car enthusiasts are now obsessed with the value of their vehicle ever since prices started to change for the better and the advent of online car auctions. Car values are right in your face all of the time constantly changing
