Yo Nifty, Thanks for bringing us another thrilling race, I see you had to put a little struggle on those twists and turns, not to mention these strange DRS zones, but I'm glad that, in spite of facing some dramatic moments that could have cut your twilight short, you managed to make it safe and sound to the end. (Just a doubt: if there was room for only 20 cars, how did you make the qualifying sprints? Have you had to leave four of the drivers out of contention? A bit controversial, isn't it?) I think the "Driver of the Day" award should go to my estimated countrymate Felipe Drugovich. I know he couldn't hold his 2nd place in the earlier stages, but he gave his all to boldly crawl out of pressure from the drivers behind him, so he could stretch his gap to them - yet he hadn't managed to put a fight back at Leclerc, despite his effort - and end up taking the lower stair of the podium. (Well, that's just my opinion, if you have a different insight about who would be the "Driver of the Day", feel free to express it) So as you mentioned before, the circus of your Enhanced F1 Series will head to a country that holds a number of places - both natural and architectural - as beautiful and astonishing as the Giza necropolis... Independent of where it will be held at, the Australian GP will be of those races that will delivery a fun challenge for the drivers' abilities... - yours included, hehe - and a helluva delight for viewers like myself! I can hardly wait! See you there! Greetings from Rio. (Another doubt: Does the win award you 40 or 42 points? My presumption is that those 43 points that Max Verstappen has been getting every race consiste of 40 for the win plus 3 bonus points, being 1 for taking pole position, 1 for leading most of the race and 1 for setting the race's fastest lap (although I'm not so sure about that tbh). Please clarify me on that matter, it would be really appreciated).

Yo Nifty! Long time no see! Well, first of all, congrats on bringing us another banger of race, I saw the thimbnail and thought "Ooh, this is gonna be a wreckfest for sure!" But no, it went as clean as it could - but, seriously, were you and your teammate really the only ones who spun? Other than that, I imagined that the cut would bigger than in the opener, but... wow, five teams out?! Yeah... for some people - and teams -, things just don't go as planned... but those are the onus and bonus of the sport, right? You did well, mate, it could be better if it weren't for some hot-headed drivers, but anyway. That said, I guess I'll see you next round (possibly Shanghai, but we never know). Greetings from Rio. P.S.: I saw you already posted the Round 3 of your Enhanced F1 Series, I haven't watched it yet, so we'll speak again there 😉

Hamilton also spun in Turn 4. Seemed like whenever the AI went 2-wide through there, the outside car didn't leave enough room and the inside car was forced into clipping the wall. That's what happened to me too. The way the cut works for the field, between Qualifying Sprints and the Grand Prix, is just whatever the track mod has room for. If the mod only has 28 spots available, I can only fit 28 in. If I was good with track editing, I could add more, but I'm not haha. Yeah, in renaming this "Enhanced" F1, I feel like I'm giving myself room to explore some unrealistic things, but still fun. Egypt, around the Pyramids, is next for you. Then the Australian Grand Prix will happen, but it might be at a different Australian track ;) Thanks for checking in, see you next time!

I'm Egyptian and I hope one day we can have any kind of race track Egypt nowadays is suffering financially, but we actually had a gran prix in 1947 before 1950 was called only granprix race racing not F1, and it was won by Franco cortese (But an important note Egypt isn't all a desert and sand like all Americans thinks the desert is always so far from were people thik and we drive cars not camels me as Egyptian i went to the pyramids once and i don't recommendit to any one 😂)

I had heard of the 1947 GP on Gezirah Island. I was thinking about featuring it in the video, because there is a mod for it. But it's not a very good mod, as it was converted from an older game. But I decided, since you mentioned it, to make a short of a lap! kzbin.infoAqSK59EmcVI And yeah, some Americans aren't very cultured. I try to be a cut above though! But really, all they have to do is pay even a slight bit of attention in World History to know the importance and fertility of the Nile river. And the idea that a modern country doesn't have cars is ridiculous. I apologize for my countryman. I promise we aren't all like that. Some of us have brains lol

Well the game I recorded it in for the short was Assetto Corsa. But the track was originally made for a different game. I don't know, but at a guess, rFactor 1?

I use Nuzzi's DRS app. You can find his Patreon here: www.patreon.com/Nuzzi/posts I used to use Rules And Race Enhancements (RARE), which you can find on Race Department... Overtake now. But the creator of RARE hadn't updated in awhile, and it got buggier as more CSP updates came out. Nuzzi's mods, which he seems to always be working to improve, help the AI racing experience a lot. He's like 90% of the way to making a mod that would give the AI a way to pit competitively during a race, and when that happens, oh boy will I be featuring that. Right now it works great, but lapped cars never come in to pit. Small detail, hoping he irons it out. But even if not, Nuzzi's done such great work already, I'm very grateful.

This is so cool and something I wish I could do! I love how detailed this is, and I love the track you chose for this race. All Around The Racetrack makes some really good tracks. I also like the idea of Peugeot, Hyundai, BMW, and Hoonigan racing in F1. Overall, incredible.

Thank you so much! <3 It's a lot of work to do, but seeing folks appreciate it means a lot, and will motivate me to push even harder to make more content! When you say you wish you could do it, if you mean setting up and racing how I do... I think I could export my AI settings and stuff. At the very least, maybe I should make an explanation video for my process with the AI - different mods I use, different tricks I know to get them to work okay (though I'm by no means the best authority for that, I just learn as I go). And 100% agreed, All Along the Race Track makes great stuff, and I was super happy to feature this one, and almost definitely more in the future.

It's the Steam version of Assetto Corsa, with CSP, Content Manager, and a bunch of mods. Many of them I have listed in the description. :)

@@Fullmoon-sp3ch That's the Formula-e circuit, right? I actually fond a mod for it, and would have used that instead. But it was simply too tight and small for the Formula 1 cars. Plus, and you'll know more than me, but all of these roads do exist still, right? They could still make this layout happen if they wanted.

That timing for me terrible. I didn't mind you passing me on the restart, figured I'd tuck in and ride but then all those yellows kept shuffling me me back. Great racing with Evan and Hickey unfortunately we were losing time to you and Gavyn and then when Brad and Borros joined made it worse.

Tucking in, grabbing fuel mileage, would've been the right call if there hadn't been more yellow. And it was a tough call to make in that moment. Other than 1 yellow, the JimdyCar field had kept it super clean to that point. Anticipating more yellow wasn't obvious. I don't think I was anticipating it either, as much as just figuring 'grab the lead, sort it out later'. And yeah, you had a lot of rough luck in the back half of that one. Hopefully things come back around for you this season, you're owed some karma!

Hey Nifty, it's me again. So it seems that your Indycar's trip to Argentina wasn't quite as you would like... That. Absolutely. Sucked. (with the pardon of the language) Oh well, there's always another race, though. Now speaking technically, I see that you raced as good and polite as you could, despite the struggle to find the best braking point in some turns, especially that blind spot up the hill... And it could work even better if it wasn't the aggressivity of the other drivers (So hard to overtake, even with the push-to-pass! Geez...). Oh, and I see you got my suggestion from the previous F1 video, it is really appreciated. Speaking of F1, I have a question: Do you intend to keep the seasonal championships system for this year, like you're doing with IndyCar, or will you make it a single year-long season? See you next time.

Termas de Rio Hondo is an odd track in the best way. There probably are some odd braking points I hit there! And yeah, I try to be as fair as possible with the AI. This is a little IndyCar history nerd talk, but in racing against the AI, I actually try to follow the rules of the late 2000's/early 2010's IndyCar/Champ Car director Tony Cotman. Which was that an overtaking car had to be given the inside line through a turn, and the car ahead had to yield the inside to that overtaking car. If a car in front did not leave an inside space for an overtaking car, it was considered blocking. SO I try to follow that with the AI< even though it's no longer a real-life standard. Famously, those rules gave Helio Castroneves a blocking penalty at Edmonton in 2010. But I've found the AI race decently with them. So I try to follow that rule in my head. Thanks for checking back in and noticing the added view of the podium coming across the line. Did you think that was done well? I wasn't 100% sure if that'd be the best way to do that! But yeah, it was a really good idea, thanks! With the F1 season, I'm not sure. The intros I do for these videos, I think, are adding a lot of quality. But they are putting me behind schedule from where I guessed I could be. Which means the IndyCar season is way behind, and the F1 season is barely started. So I haven't quite decided how I'm going to go forward with F1. There's also some old races from the league I run in, JimdyCar, that I'm still wanting to get edited and up onto the channel here. Which hey, if you like those, JimdyCar Season 2 starts April 22nd and I stream those live Mondy nights on Twitch at EtherxSocial. Sorry for the long message! Thanks for checking out my stuff <3

Hi Lucas! Thanks for the kind words! I too hope that IndyCar can run here in the future. Lately, IndyCar thinks of itself as a USA/Canada only series, but I think it's missing out on a huge amount of fans elsewhere! I don't mind Turn 7 too much, but the AI sure did like bashing into me there! I'd say Turn 9 was the most difficult, because the apex is hard to see because of the hill, and you've got to immediately exit to set up for Turn 10. But that doesn't mean it isn't fun. I love finding those hidden, unique challenges in tracks :) Thanks for checking it out! -Nifty

I think you could have shown the top 3 finishers crossing the line for the chequered, maybe you can do it on the next race. But, other than that, it was a great show, i really like your way of approaching Formula 1, just how we all motorsport lovers would like to see. Congrats, and keep it up.

Good advice! I'm always looking for ways to make it seem like more than just "Nifty races cars". Make it feel like its own world. And that would help a lot! Good idea! Yeah, I wish F1 would lighten up a little bit with its restrictions. Obviously xD

Ah, no problem. And also, those recovered replays don't need to resume to crashes... some clean yet intense battles for position are always valid, they enhance the spectacle, too! (As seen at the end of second Sprint heat) You're not the only one set to survive the carnage, and make it to as the top as you can, after all ;)

I didn't know there was a demand for it! It was a lot of editing, taking a 3+ hour stream and editing it into 30 minutes. The EtherxSocial guys (our home KZbin) were talking about streaming on Kick in the future, and I was thinking about starting it back up as a Kick-exclusive.

At the iRacing ovals, you should incorporate some random yellows to add some pit strategy to the mix. I just use a random timer app on my phone and throw an admin caution when the alarm goes off. Works great for ovals, but not for road courses where the AI are dumb with pit strategy.

It's the Red Bull X2010 concept. It's got a cool story for not being a real car. The folks at Polyphony making Gran Turismo hired one of the engineers from a Formula One team to design a car, using realistic physics, to go as fast as possible without adhering to a rulebook. What he came up with was this monstrous beast. A fan car with 1500 horse power! (A fan car uses a giant fan mounted on the underside of the car to literally suck the car to the road, to achieve silly amounts of downforce and basically glue itself to the track. They've been banned for their literal break-neck turning speeds for decades now) Why I used it was because I needed to complete a laptime under a minute for the short!

I have actually thought I might do that for 2024. But the skins take a long time to make, and I don't want to get even further behind in my seasons here (F1, IndyCar, heck, I was doing NASCAR too!). But yeah, that has DEFINITELY crossed my mind, and it'd be epic as heck! :)
