Not fond of the wow community, but I've been thinking about getting my 5 year old into turtle wow.

You could really slow down what you're trying to show us, show us a map of where you are or what room you're in. I had to go use another guide to find what room you're talking about with Rottgore? Where you have to find the broken Argent amulet because you just said "enter the room and on the left" but since it's been near 20 years since I last saw this and can only remember the new version I was in the room where he spawns in the new one forgetting there was a downstairs. Maybe don't cut that part out? Then further on in the video you keep jumping without showing the inbetween steeps, even if you just speed some of it up it allows people to know they are on the right track.

I played 6 holy priests, a MW, a prevoker, and hpal this season. The beginning of tww Hpriest felt extremely rough to play... It feels a bit better after the buff. Each of my Hpriest is somewhere from 1980-2040 rating, and my MW hpal and evoker are also 2k in shuff For fun i decided to try disc out. It blew my mind how much easier it was. On every priest, i got it to 1800 in under 40 rounds. At some points i was seeing winrates of 75-80%. No idea how attonement works, just spamming shield and premonitions. It did feel pretty awkward, having so many buttons... But id rather have several buttons that absorb a lot of damage than none, like on Hpriest other than 1 premonition charge. Just spamming shields and healing you automatically absorb like 28-30 million + damage throughout a round on disc.... Ultimate peen and your entire team is topped... Plus you get a free dispell on the way down from ultimate peen (like dispelling UA but theres no backlash silence) On hpriest you just feel like a flash heal bot, using all your free globals to flash heal, try to dodge incoming cc, throw POM onto teammates and fake kicks.. no damage... No time to do damage (if we had any) My favorite aspect by far of priest, other than being able to fade and death incoming CC... Was mind control Such a slept on ability, you can force enemy trinkets immediately, drag them to you, root them... Force trinkets for later... Negate incoming damage... There are some insane uses and scenarios The other day in a 3s game, i mind control this BM hunter as he is running up to trap me... Instead of kicking he throws the trap... It lands directly on me, but my mind control had already landed. He ended up FULL trapping his own pet, which was standing on top of me😂😂 you can mind control an enemy pres voker, during their emerald communion... Their cast will heal your team You can mind control an enemy low, preventing them fron being healed, letting your dps land cc on the healer That being said in its current state holy priests mana is still pretty awful, still quite possible to oom in shuffle matches due to the uncoordinated nature of the gameplay...and CD overlaps on holy priest is an instant round loss, majority of the time

Evoker is the hardest at lower rating for me, and it's not because of the toolkit. Most DPS at low rating run in random directions when they get low and panic. And most times they are running out of my short range. I have a macro that I use at the start of every round asking people not to run away from me when they get low, but it rarely has an effect. It gets so frustrating that I end up benching my Evoker not far into the season

1800 is easy to get to on any toon .... just saying Healers is harder definitely but still 1800 is mabye 6 to 10 games

I got all 13 classes to 1800 healing when available for the fast queues. With no doubt an all out Rushing Wind Kick monk is the funnest spec to play for me. I have 298% mastery. Many lobbies you will be top damage and heals especially with pet classes on the other team. BM with Demo is insane damage and healing as the monk

Also it’s so easy to get stuck in mmr hell as a healer. I hit 1800 on bm in like 6 games because farming cr and mmr was so much easier because I had so much agency

I’ve played every healer this season as well. I would mostly agree. Rsham is so so difficult to play in solo shuffle because no one respects your totems and throughput isn’t great. Pres is also very difficult because you m also have to help actively enable kills not just out heal. Disc I thought was way easier just because they’re tuned so highly atm and as long as you’re not burning too many cds in the opener you can keep up with damage pretty easily by the 2-3 minute mark.

Finally someone that puts Disc in the D tier I've gotten 2400 on it this season and been over 3200 on the spec I think it sucks. What does help if u press premonition of insight and rapture with archangel on the other teams CDs with dots out that's how you get the PVE healing but vs things like DK's and ele shamans they can just blast through it. When they take rapture off us next patch I have no clue how we are going to play. We getting some compensation but gee I don't trust it.

Hunter set sucks. that is NOT hunter. Hunters - leather, light, nimble... that set looks like EVERY other set in the game and is way too bulky. there wasn't any thought put into that. You gave it S?! wow - the rest are ok, that one is not. funny - you said rogue was bad and hunter was good. i have them opposite ends...

Just remove healers from PvP. Better queue times. No bots - Stupid idea. If you make me play with bots I just play another game. I play another game anyway, queue times 20 mins for rng to see who gets the linkest link the most.

Just went FIVE straight lobbies going 4-2 as dps, 12 points per lobby. Went 1-5, lost 61 points. Legit just cancelled my sub, fuck this game, fuck this company, its insane how they flaunt how much money they new have but Overwatch is dead in the water, so is heroes of the storm, Starcraft is dead as fuck, wow pvp is a shadow. Everyone dropped diablo for POE. This company just fucking sucks at making games now

Disable racials in PvP would be one thing I'd add. Still no chance it will be a balanced game but it would be better.

Good stuff. My friend and I are finding our way into more 3s games and it’s been fun. But it also does make me realize the split community as well. One thing id personally like to see is a 1v1 bracket. Reason being is that you won’t have teammates that you have to worry about because you’re new. Kind of similar to the bots idea I think. Just an environment where you’re solo and can’t cause rage to your teammates. And slowly learn the game at a pace that isn’t overwhelming cuz it’s only 1 person.

Meta changing too fast is worse than slow meta, people will always play the meta unless everything is S tier so making people drain gold to get chars up to speed would suck Solo shuff is popular because people are super elitist

One of the biggest, glaring issues with PvP I think you overlooked was the fact that 99% of all the rewards PvP has to offer are shared across 5 different brackets, 2 of which are solo que. IMO, Classic WoW didn't fragment the PvP player base nearly as much as SS and BGB did. I remember you saying that you got into rated PvP for the first time in SL because you wanted the elite set. If I'm new to PvP and I want the 1800 elite set, do I attempt to form/join a group of 2/3 people for arenas or 10 people for RBGs and socialize with them or do I click the SS/BGB button and wait? And once I get that 1800 elite set, why would I bother starting over by queing any other bracket? 3v3 has seasonal titles and the glad mount, but if I don't expect to reach 2400, then it wouldn't be enough motivation for me to sit in LFG. RBG has the "Hero" title, but that's not as enticing for the average player as transmogs and mounts. Plus, if you got the Hero title once at any point, that's it. You have it forever. It's no different than getting Hero in any other season. Blizzard, unintentionally or not, is turning WoW into a $15 a month single player game which is the antithesis of what a MMO is supposed to be. And is also really bad considering there are millions of games that cater to solo play, don't have a que time, and don't cost $15 a month. I hope Blizzard listens to us and tries harder to make PvP better for everyone.

Such a lack of players go in fresh 60 in greens and end up in a 1800 mmr game is a waste of time and also bad for those players who get you in their team even if you are skilled gear still makes a massive difference

Now i find you, Sir, i have a question on preservation evoker. By checking with addon details, i have realized that their biggest amount of healing comes from Living Flame. However, this seems to not be in accordance with how many times they cast living flame. Detalis show that they have for example 30 M heal from living flame and they cast it only 4 times. How s that possible. Is there a mechanism contributing to Living flame heal? They do it by doing damage? I have read some guides but they dont explain that point. Please, could you help on this? Note, my xp and cur rating in ss is 1800+ with holy priest and resto shaman.

So i think you're nearly right on the momey here with the healer 3-3 and healer rating in general truthfully, and i think if you fix that, you make queue times shorter. Genuinely, if you make healing the easiest to climb solo shuffle with, you'll see way more healers, especially in the midrange brackets to the point that queues would maybe be 5-10 minutes max.

I know how to fix it. Simple make everywhere a PVP zone, nobody anywhere is safe

I've started in BFA. Was playing mostly healers since the introduction of Solo Shuffle in DF. Got 2.1 in Shadowlands both as healer and dps (in 2v2). For me SS is so frustrating while playing healer, that I would rather sit 30 min in queue as DPS than play healer. A lot of reasons. For me, 3-3 situations and mmr issues are not the biggest. Maybe if they delete this "Suffle" part and just make a regular 3v3 solo queue (what ppl actually wanted in the first place), that would be better. Also, healers have 0 impact on the game in SS environment. So no incentive will work if gameplay is just bad, frustrating, and meaningless. Most ppl just don't want to play healer and this is ok. That brings us to the point of queue times. Since healer population needs to be at 33% to reduce these, the only solutions are: (1) to totally rework the healer gameplay to make ppl eager to play them, (2) remove them from PVP at all or (3) add the bots. The latter looks the easiest and I would recommend this in SS also at high mmr to avoid queue times. Ofc it's not perfect but it at least enables ppl to play the game rather than sit in a queue for 30 min.

Blizzard needs to take this guys advice.

Every DUMB SHIT have its own wow mode... classic SOD, classic ERA, classic HC, Retail PVE collector's andy bs, Classic Cata.... so my question is: Why at this point pvpers dont have WOW PvP mode tournament like realms where u just : - login - create a class - dress at a vendor for nothing - queue and join under 1 min - no dedicated healing ( either super heavy incentives to play healer or classes reworked so that everyone can play either dps or support dps which will lead to insta queues ) - Last, but not least pls adopt league ranking system...wow system is garbage outside R1 placement period. Tournament like pvp realms where u dont have to progress gear , u dont have to wait queues cuz no healers you just LOGIN and PLAY like its League or shooter...no wait time no bs , like EVERY MODERN PURE PVP GAME in 2025... Inb4 someone comes and tell me " boo hoo go play another real pvp game" NO NO and 300 times NO. WoW is my baby i love it since 2004 .. i hate them for what they do to its pvp aspect .. this is world of WARcraft ... that looks more and more like World of Transmog and collecting instead of focusing more on PvP side. Also before someone quote me numbers " just 5 % players participate in rated pvp why would they spend resources on it" .... well ask yourself WHY IS THAT, what changed ... how come the sole purpose of gearing from raids was to be able to defeat enemy players and not being killed with a single hit and now ... its never about the pvp. I played since the 2nd day of the release of Wow on and off and i think the problem is far more simple than that. The problem with PVP now is that is generally not fun, you die far too fast without someone constantly throwing heals on you. Versatility should be reversed in PVP and give like 20% dmg reduction and 10% more damage as opposed to how it is now. So your cutting dmg 10% and reducing damage taken by 10%. PVP now is like PVP without resilience in WotLK or TBC

I have all classes to 1800. I have a couple over 2k and am pushing one as far as I can go. I only play shuffle. I’m not trying to deal with people in lfg it’s a total waste of time. I just play another game while I sit in queue unless I’m healing of course

Good reflections. I like the idea of bots certainly at lower levels. People with no history of doing PVP should get eased into it as you say. Especially at that 0-1000 MMR stage. I know it put me off at first as I also get awful anxiety and it made me get panic attacks when I started. And as a Balance Druid main it's been depressing watching meta classes getting buffed while all boomies agree we are squishy. I can't even play solo shuffle on my boomie currently because I will be trained and targeted every match which is no fun at all. Meanwhile really tanky specs can do even more damage.

Good ideas, but we are missing here main causes of this situation; mmr system is simply from 20 years ago, they have to revamp it completly, second thing very high skill cap to entry, imagine being first time wow player who wants to play pvp at higher level, u have to spend atleast 100 hours to learn all the classes, addons, gameplay and combos, moreover if u play dps u can just delete the game nobody will play with you; times we live in dont help either, instant gratification mechanism is destroying us, ppl dont want to spend time on learning. No dedicated pvp dev team and no clear path about pvp in future

Zekvir auto attacks me for 2.5 million dmg and I only have 5 million hp..... I just gave up after seeing how badly this is tuned
