The fire line with beadsmith logo on it is same as fire line sold in fishing gear shops.only difference I've seen is the fire line ice variety but that has been discontinued.

I just started the Solini today. It’s been a couple years since I’ve made one. Are you all in cranberry Township Pennsylvania? That’s where my sister lives.

I have used this s-lon, beadalon wildfire and Berkley fireline all 6lb. The s-lon and the wildfire both fray and break if you go through tiny beads with up to 3 passes. Whereas the Berkley fireline does not fray and break. Thanks for your comparison though.

Svp pouvez vous me donner le no de grosseur des perles et dans quel ordre faire le tissage 15 0. 11 0. 8 0 ? Merci beaucoup 😊
@CranberryBeadsAU10 ай бұрын
It depends in the size of your wrist, but if you pause at 4.36, you can see them laid on the bead mat and can count them.

I haven't been beading long and initially started with KO, then wanted something stiffer and less stretchy and tried Fireline and Wildfire. Personally I do NOT like the Wildfire: it splits terribly along the length of the thread on me. But the Fireline was lovely, perhaps not as stiff as I'd hoped, but no stretch and otherwise great to use. I was put off S-Lon because of how rough it feels but I got some in a box to use and I'm a convert. It's got a bit more stiffness (which I really like). It kinks more definitely than the Fireline - which is actually really good for creating peaks and sharp corners in beadwork. It is thicker but that helps stiffness. I'm definitely going to use both Fireline (for more flexible projects and work where I need to do more passes through the bead and S-Lon for things that require a bit of stiffness. Really enjoying both ... unlike my poor abandoned Wildfire reel.

cellini bangles are hard to measure as they are wavy. The critical measurement is over your fist. This is a small size. More on sizing coming soon.

The Club is a great place to bead along with like minded people. Great for beginners but also well worth it for intermediate and advanced beaders. I consider myself intermediate but have learnt a number of new things already. Definitely recommend.
