Sorry! I know the clicking through is annoying. I did it to show unread text and still get through it quickly because I was going for rank 1 in the battle rankings and wanted to skip through the story, then I didn't expect to get Kengo on the team, so I thought I should show that but still speed through because I am doing another scenario next. Sadly I still can't win the baseball game yet, so I show what happens at this part, and I'm still blindly figuring out what story the choices go to.

This is one of the worst endings for such a beautiful story because it just throws away everything we learned up to this point by basically "retcon" everything, firstly, Clannad is about overcoming whatever life sends your way, dealing with despair and sorrow not garbage miracles and resurrection (seriously, did all the other scenarios that happen after matter now that Nagisa is alive?) i'm aware that this may sound heartless but in my opinion they should've just stick with the Normal Ending instead...try imagining this, Okazaki holding Ushio, completely hopeless then all of a sudden out of nowhere he feels a hand reaching for his back, GUESS WHO??? Well if isn't Kyou!!! She gets closer to him then another hand reaches in and is her twin sister then when Okazaki looks around, he sees a bunch of familiar faces surrounding him, Sunohara, Fuko, Tomoyo, Kotomi (i know she's abroad studying but she comes in her private jet or something, I DON'T CARE HOW, SHE'S THERE) essentially all our previous friends gather together to repay us, slowly Ushio's eyes start to open, surpassing the disease...anyways it was my pleasure following you through this, Grant (hopefully you don't mind me addressing you by your Insta's name) almost 3 months worth of reading

This is a super complex ending and it feels a little confusing, so I will try to get it to make sense to you as much as I can. Don't feel bad, it really confused me too! I'll start by explaining what the illusionary world is. The illusionary world is the afterlife of Ushio, who is sent there with Tomoya after both of them die in the snow, and she is slightly older. The events of the illusionary world take place at the same time as the story's events in the real world, and Tomoya exists as both the boy in town and the illusionary world's junk doll. Next is the illness that both Nagisa and Ushio suffer from. Nagisa's illness is that her life is directly connected to the town's happiness, which is because of a wish made by Akio when she had an unhealthy birth as a baby. This is kind of like Avatar: The Last Airbender with Princess Yue. The illness is also passed onto Ushio after she is born. To save her, Tomoya needs to help everyone in town. If he doesn't, then she dies. If he does, then she survives. Clannad is a story about a girl who not only repeats a year of high school, but also has a birth defect. When Nagisa survives, the illusionary world disappears and sends the girl to the real world, where both the real Ushio and her are. By helping everyone, Tomoya saves Nagisa's life, and he also gets 5 ex-girlfriends. Think of this what you like. Thank you for watching this visual novel!

Another extra little story that is not present in the Anime this time around

Since we're near the end, i'll take this opportunity to talk about a particular scene that wasn't present in this novel during Yukine's (the gang member girl) scenario, apparently right after we understand about her past, brother and stuff, Nagisa & friends decides to set up a plan to help her and even Tomoyo gets involved in the situation aswell...essentially there's this big fight in between gangs in town, 1 side claiming revenge for the death of their leader Vs. the "bad guys" murderers of the aforementioned brother...in all honesty, this was my least favorite story and i'm so glad we get a much chiller ending for that character here, is just such a stupid topic to bring up and it only serves as sort of a redemption arc for Okazaki
