I just came across your videos a day ago I grew up in Genesee. We have a farm 5 miles west of Genesee on G Crippen Road. The weirdest thing is I used to ride my quad to school northern potter and that’s the same way you are going. you said you’re an hour from Genesee. Keep up the videos make them longer next time

I seen that new trail back in July. Was planning on checking it out on way back to the trail head. It was getting late and having engine issues so I kept heading to the truck.

At first I wasn’t sure it was a legal trail but there were signs about a 1/2 mile in. Was surprised to see the old ski life. Tks. for watching.

I called last week about this very question as my new buggy is 68 inches wide. I was told to risk it. It’s the forest service that will get you NOT the event people. So it’s officially a gamble (in my mind). This video showed 2 Honda talons that are the 68.4 inch width. So that’s a good sign.

Thanks!!

How strict are they on the width? Have a friend at 66.5 and one at 68 wide. Wasn’t sure if there was a little wiggle room.. or if they could fit the bridge.

Does your X3 actually come in at 65 1/2" wide? Was wondering if you had any trouble with the gates or bridges. My 1000 xp comes in at 68" with the aftermarket wheels. Think i might need to pick up a set of stock ones to narrow it up some.
@redwhiteandrzroffroad8922 Жыл бұрын
Im right at 64 with the stock 30 inch tires. I added fender flares and had to cut them down a bit since they took me way out to 72. The bridges are tight but I didn’t have any issues. I just kept my driver side about an inch off the bridge rail and went slow.
@harborstroz7534 Жыл бұрын
@redwhiteandrzroffroad8922 Thanks, that's good to know. I was there last weekend with my 800S. I think it's the gate just before the first play area where there is a pole on your right & boulder on the left. I thought to myself there is no way my XP would make it thru there! On a side note I'm pretty sure I came across your XP at my local dealer yesterday. Nice machine for sure. It very tempting...
@redwhiteandrzroffroad8922 Жыл бұрын
@@harborstroz7534 I have had that XP all through Marienville. Even with those mudbuster flares it fit. I know exactly which gate you’re talking about… there is just something about that one. For me it’s the bridge right after the play area. It’s just mental! They are all the same size. Ride safe. Maybe we’ll cross paths at the tour de forest.
