God, give me a prepared speech rather than this bilge. At least someone has taken the effort to think something through.

Thank you. A really informative interesting conversation between two really good people who give a damn. Unfortunately, four years on snd it has increasingly got worse.✍️💭

The riot of 1919 was due to a police strike. The Charles Wotton incident had no connection to that ..Heres the 1919 riot kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnbQmmpme71ogKM

WoW. Pushers of far left narratives and fake history. Shall we check the reports from the time ? Lancashire evening Post June 6, 1919 Five policemen and nine alien seamen injured One negro was drowned, and five policemen and nine alien seamen injured, in a riot which occurred in Pitt-street, Liverpool, last night. The cause of the disturbance was the stabbing of a negro on the previous day. A large number of negroes waited outside a public-house for a number of Russians and Danes. A free fight ensued, in which the negro was thrown into the Queen’s Dock by the incensed crowd. His body was subsequently recovered by the police. During the fighting revolver shots were fired, and razors, bottles and sticks freely used. Two or three dozen policemen who were gathered together charged the fighters, and after a great struggle managed to separate the two fighting forces. The injured who were taken to hospital included: - P.C. Brown, shot in the mouth, serious condition. Sergeant Gettie, cut head and concussion. P.C. Fox, fractured arm. P.C. Parkinson, cut face. Emil Huroneu, severe cuts on the head. Jacob Eming, cut head. Thomas Johannson, severecuts. John Marchovitch, severe cuts. At the Police-Court to-day, 13 coloured men were charged with attempting to murder three police officers and with riotously assembling. Many of the accused were bandaged. Only evidence of arrest was given, and the prisoners were remanded. The injured policeman who was shot in the head is in critical condition.

This video is Total bullshit. Black people are the most racist people in Britain and America and also the most violent. No amount of oppression of this truth by the scum British police is going to change these two facts. The more honest people of all races are oppressed and lied to by racist cu-ts the more we will stop listening to our 'leaders'. Everyone involved in the making of this video is a criminal.

Remember it like it was yesterday. I grew up in The Dingle and the coppers only knew to do things one way, the hard way. Their heavy handed tactics were the final straw that caused all that. Thatcher`s paid Bully Boys. It was bad all over the L8 Area but it was much worse around Granby, Lodge lane etc. Whoever put some of those thugs in uniform needed locking up.

I lived at 161 lodge lane over Johns food store in 81. Bizzies made are life as kids, at nighttime but especially for my Afro caribbean mates. It was always going to explode also travelling out of Tocky was dangerous with other mobs from other areas. Frontline 👊🏽

....There would have been no "Georgian Quarter" without the blood and sweat of black people in the colonies and the resistance of the black residents of the area against colonial style policing under Kenneth Oxford, police boss at the time. Even in the 90s clubs playing black music were closed by the cops on a racist basis.

This man is great. We need more people like him in the world and would be a lot better as Prime Minister than the current clown!! I regard his work on Hillsborough and getting the farcical accidental deaths verdict overturned and a new inquest and inquiry set up. I read his book ‘ Hillsborough the Truth ‘ when it first came out in 1999 and it blew my mind.

Simply amazing. The world should listen to this brilliant man. I could hear him speak indefinitely. One might imagine that it's wonderful having this kind of genius, but also very hard. This depth of knowledge could be, perhaps, lonely. I wish I could put my arms around him and say thank you. When Noam Chomsky speaks, intelligent people listen. PS. The host was very good.

That point about locating yourself within the geometry of an entire country or landmass is something I experienced once in Australia. One of the shortest common flight paths in Australia is between Sydney and Canberra and there is a point as you fly over the Illawarra bushland where you can just about see both cities from from seat window. It's an extraordinary feeling, though rather more transcendental than 'grounding' as in Will's example.

from the shoddy sooty streets the castle uproars in the lead sun background, in and out of a few cobbled alleys, junkies starlets and dreams hide in the stonework skies and trees, Cobalt Blue and Iron Green. they're coming to ripen and flower this Spring. wouldn't bang pans for the NHS but i like them and IRV is always coming up with something True and Positive.

What Kevin wrote... LUCY AND JEANETTE. (A scrap of a dialogue by Kevin Dyer.) Lucy is in the birthing pool in the living room. Jeanette is with her. LUCY: It’s too hot. No reply. LUCY: It’s too hot. JEANETTE: (Re the manual) It’s what it says. LUCY: I don’t care. I’m sweating, look at me. JEANETTE: (Showing her the instructions) It’s what it says. LUCY: For Christ’s sake, turn it down. JEANETTE: Before, you said turn it up. LUCY: Now I’m saying down. JEANETTE: Do you want some tea? LUCY: I want it down. JEANETTE: all right, now it’s down. Now it’s down. Pause. JEANETTE: Does it hurt? LUCY: Of course it fuckin’ hurts. JEANETTE: Shall I call- LUCY: No. It’s too early. JEANETTE: I think- LUCY: Don’t. Pause. LUCY: We’ve had three false alarms, we’re not doing another. JEANETTE: I’ll say it was me. LUCY: But they’ll know it’s me, me the stupid woman who got in here again, me the stupid woman calling them again. JEANETTE: You’re not- LUCY: Christ it was like fuckin’ Holby City. They’d brought their stuff up the stairs. Have they fixed the lift yet? JEANETTE: I don’t know. LUCY: Phone them. JEANETTE: It’s a Sunday. LUCY: How can I do this when they can’t even fix the lift!

Chomsky calls corporations "tyrannies unaccountable to the public". If people should have more power in relation to corporations, we should share natural wealth equally, so that those who are employed by tyrannical organizations will be free to leave their employer in search of more appealing job opportunities. (No one will be threatened with becoming destitute if they leave a job or decline a job offer.) We can share natural wealth by charging fees to industries that pollute or deplete natural resources, then sharing fee proceeds to all people. Fees are high enough when we take random polls and find that most people think there's not too much of this or that kind of impact on the environment. Conditions in the world would match what average opinion says is best. We would have a true democracy. What prominent person will call for sharing of natural wealth? Who will call for honest prices? How to fix civilization: gaiabrain.blogspot.com/2015/12/how-to-fix-civilization.html
