Helpful tutorial, I plan on using. I did some Lego builds back in Haulin' and I'm trying to shake-off the rust. . . As for aligning parts, I remember back in the Haulin' days of modding I use to import a cab to align parts then delete the cab afterwards instead of constantly opening/closing game. . . will that old approach work when aligning parts in ATS?

You can do that yes. But you won’t be able to change the base color.

This sorta works but sorta doesn’t, tried adding different mirrors to my glider and they aren’t in the right position to fit the truck so seems like blender is always necessary for adding parts

Now if anyone is up for laughs, here is one I would love to see happen. For the T680, I would love to see how you would move the windshield wipers from the bottom to the top. They would be facing the same direction but instead of sitting on the bottom, they would be hanging from the top. Now would Zmod allow me to do such a thing or or no.

Really helpful. But I wish he would explain what to do if you don't have another SIMILAR working truck mod, to copy stuff from. I'm trying to fix headlight brightness and mirror darkness fixed on some older mods that are very unique in shape, and are not similar in any way to modern trucks. i.e. Eurotrucks ports over to ATS, older Russian truck mods, any other truck that has a strange shape like the Oshkosh HEMTT, etc... So that would mean the headlights would be wider or more narrow, and have a different offset from the center axis point. But there are no SIMILAR mods to reference from. Can you use just ANY working mod? Can you use the headlight text from a Pete 389 in the Zil-157, for example?

Hey man I'm trying to mod a truck that I downloaded that is outdated and trying to get it to work and 1.40 for personal use not to Redistribute so when I click the engine I can get to the truck in my mod Dealership but when I click the engine to see what engines are in it it crashes 1.36 I believe Trying to figure out a way to upgrade it to 1.40 just for personal Use
