I l ove it even more when the car that was an outsider gets up there and stays with the leaders, and even more so if they win. Thanks for this.

how does one even get the parts to maintain the engines, brakes and gearboxes? Keeping any 70s or 80s car is a challenge at the best of times, these were all special builds

What a great race. Tordoff is unstoppable in that machine. It's wonderful to see Broadbent and Mardenborough in the Alex's Brustang. Fantastic move for position by Jimmy. Thank you, Silverstone for posting this and other full length races. They never disappoint,

Who decides what type of vehicle the drivers drive? Do they get to choose what car they drive? It seems an unfair advantage that the v8 cars have over the minis. I am just curious about it. It’s great racing no matter what they drive! I enjoy it. Thanks for sharing!

A few millions on track there. Beautiful cars, from the days when they all looked different, without colours and logos it'd be difficult to differentiate one car from another today. My first visit to Silverstone was 77, fascinating to see the Renault RS 01 in its first race that day .

I am very disappointed there are no Hillman IMP's on the grid when they won both class and overall in the 60's! Hartwell, Fraser & Bevan Imps were all a joy to behold back in the day!

Its not often you can watch mainly 2 identical cars for most of the race. What a battle. Exactly, both on the edge of edhesion. Lap after lap. Good un.

The Red Toyota Corolla run/built by CHMS was the second car, built for the owner of Demon Tweaks, but didn't like the car for some reason. The Champion winning car was white ( red cage ), and sold at the end of the season to a New Zealander to use in the World Touring Car Championship, but got crashed at Monza, and was so bad CHMS built another white car ( white cage ). Info from Chris Hodgetts himself.

The weather has been modified, not predictably British. Cloud seeding to make the crops fail and restrict the food chain.
