SLIABH LIAG is a wonderful place. Try spell it correctly.

+Daniele Giannarini There is only one spelling, Slaibh Liag. Try to respect local cultures. The Irish language has already been damaged enough then for people to disrespect the few places left that have held onto it. Tír gan teanga, Tír gan anam. Gaeilge abú!

Number 69 the irish name it's the official one, but the mountain is worldwide known (unfortunately) by the english name.. even there hostels, boat trips and roadsign use Slieve League instead of Sliabh Liag (or anyway the dual language). I don't like this and when I can, I use the irish name, but this was a clip originally intended to be shown to some italian friends, who don't know irish gaelic :)

+Daniele Giannarini By that you insinuate that Italians are not intelligent enough to learn the correct name of a place. I give them more credit than that.By the way, I am from the area, and we are an Irish-speaking community and use Sliabh Liag all the time, except occasionally for foreigners who don't seem capable of using our language. Tír gan teanga, Tír gan anam. Gaeilge Abú!

+Los Scangers Hi there, I'm afraid you're wrong about my intentions. I love irish language and I consider it a treasure of your culture to protect. I always spend holidays in gaeltacht areas in Donegal and/or Mayo. Despite being italian, I play here in Rome GAELIC football with some irish and italian friends and when I can, talking about Ireland and irish places, I use your language (the few words I can understand). By the way, most of italians (aswell europeans) don't even know Sliabh Liag as place. They don't even know Donegal, Ireland is by far more known (unfortunately) for Guinness, Dublin, Temple Bar and Cliffs of Moher as they have been more advertised in the years by Irish tourism. Unfortunately if you check around, on internet the most known name of the cliffs is in english, and it's the only reason why I used it in the clip. But if you check well, in the description I used the gaelic name for the reasons you have highlighted. I prefer to light on the curiosity about the irish language and culture instead of using immediately a beautiful but hard (at least for an average italian) language. We don't even have proper accents on the keyboard to type properly the sineadh fada! :) By the way... Tir Chonaill abù!! ;)
