Have the exact same power supply i bought in 1990 to power my Cobra 20 Plus CB radio. Was given a huge base station antenna by a neighbor who came over and adjusted the SWR for me. I was in NW Wa state and could talk to people in CA regularly if the "bounce" was just right!

FYI - based on your video, I went and got that exact product; Motsenbocker’s Lift Off Paint & Varnish Remover. I don’t know if they changed the formula, or what - but after 3 hours the paint was still not coming off. I ended up (successfully) using Aircraft Remover.

Excellent! That little sharpening jig made a difficult job mindlessly easy. 👍 Have you seen the awl on the “Alox” models? It’s with the rest of the blades and much more stout. It drills holes with precision and even opens blister packs. But, it doesn’t have the stitching hole! (I’m thinking of risking a carbide bit and drilling one)

Had my echo for 5-6 years. It’s never let me down and although I would love a newer and larger car… it’s been a great cheap and reliable little gem. I’m an Aussie Holden girl, but know to put my day to day faith in the little old Toyotas
@KYNAEVIL14 күн бұрын
Thanks a lot for the instructions and the bloody fair point of not taking on this job if you can’t change a tyre. I’ve had my Echo for about 6 years, I’ve only had two issues where it’s broke down on me and they were battery and a stupid mistake on my part. Do I like the car, no… but it’s hard to get rid of what you know, especially when it’s so cheap and been so reliable. I’m an Aussie, Holden girl too… but it pains me to say that I hold my trust to get about with Toyota.

I have a pair that I used to shovel snow with and then (foolishly) speed salt. I tossed them aside in the garage and forgot about them. Well, I just found them, 2 years later, bone dry, all crusted over and nearly rock hard. Any suggestions??
@HNXMedia18 күн бұрын
Neatsfoot oil. Put the gloves on, put some in the palms and then massage it in just like you were putting lotion on your hands. Might take a bit depending upon how dry they are, but neatsfoot oil restores real leather flawlessly (but it WILL darken leather).

I have one that leaks when I open the valve. Any thoughts on how to empty the tank first? It's mostly full, and I hate to waste all the propane.
@HNXMedia18 күн бұрын
I would pick-up one of those "refill kit adapters" for filling smaller propane bottles and try that maybe. But I guess you would need a lot of small bottles. If you have a local welding shop, they might be able to transfer it to another full size tank for you.

Not sure why KZbin decided to replace my soothing, angelic voice with some AI crap, but that was NOT intentional. Working on fixing that now, but feel free to roast the audio until I can get this straightened out.
@JRed4219 күн бұрын
For some reason the original audio was listed as Spanish, and youtube gave me a "translated" AI voice. When I clicked on the original audio, the natural voice was much better, and not Spanish. That complaint aside, great video and great job on the sheath. I got into leatherwork because I wanted to make holsters the way I wanted them. This is inspiring me to finally make a replacement sheath for my old ka-bar.

Is that a copy of the Gerber? I had that Gerber . I bought one in ‘78’ and lost it while fishing and exploring Elmer’s Isle in southern Louisiana by Grande Isle. It wasn’t stainless and I’ve been hoping for forty years that it rots completely before someone finds it the hard way. The speed snap failed when I fell about ten feet . I was running through sand and reeds when I ran off a sand dune cliff that had formed. I didn’t even see it, the ground just wasn’t there and I was falling. The reeds just bent and cushioned me, and one must have caught on that quick draw thumb snap release. So glad it didn’t stick me. Had it been in your sheath, I would still have it. Awesome grommets.

Other than leveling, I really do not know. As long as all the panels are squared it should work. Maybe slip a tiny, slim piece of felt onto the pad of each bracket. That is what I would do to remove any vibration.

@HNXMedia21 күн бұрын
No, this completely bypasses the heating system. This is a fix to basically keep the coolant from running into a failed heater core. This will absolutely not fix your heat - it does the exact opposite (shuts off the heating system). Sorry. Best wishes for trying to find your proper fix.
