Have a Chrono v3 exp 15, but want two more foil kites for snowkiting instead of using my LEIs. Thinking of a Subzero 11m and Explore v2 6m like this one. What would you choose for the 9-14m/s wind range, subzero 7m or explore v2 6m?
@tundratours
@tundratours 2 жыл бұрын
First question how heavy are you. If you are 80 maybe 90kg I would recommend an Explore 8m or if you are thinking subzero then the 11m would be perfect. Are you less than 80kg (I'm only 60kg) than the Explore 6m is more than enough. I would still go for the Subzero 11m even for you weight is less then 80kg as the subzero is not as lightweight kite and the wind window for that kite can easily be used in winds from 4-10msk for a person of 60kg + Hope that was of any help? Kind regards, Bernie Tundra Tours.no
@mrstonehill
@mrstonehill 2 жыл бұрын
@@tundratours thanks, will go for a Subzero 11 anyway, but is the Explore 6 a good kite for those days with wind more than 10m/s? Or would you rather go for another Subzero in the 7m size? 80kg rider weight.

8 kvm explorer.?Vurdere å kjøpe en slik. Anbefaler du 8 fremfor 10?
@tundratours
@tundratours 2 жыл бұрын
Du ser depoweren i filmen.

Add a small 1st aid kit, a extra set of gloves(if you don't have spare, and loose one, you will get cold!), a powerbank for your phone and a chocolade or 2, and a small rope 2-3m long.. which is nice if you need to tow your friend..

Wow, great video and what a great puppy! The shot at 8:52 is amazing. At what KP level do you usually see the aurora? Where I am it only it takes a good KP6 , but sometimes it will be reading KP4 and it will still be big, although that is rare.

Hi! Sorry for my late reply. Wow 2 years ago, didn't cop on to this until now! KP4 and KP8 are both good. In the video we had KP7. The season for the Aurora Borealis has now started again and will be here until December. Back again in February until April :) Cheers Bernie - tundratours.no
