I've seen a good number of these parades on You Tube but NONE of then were professionally prepared by the Army commanders! All are amateur footage! What does that tell you about the British class system?

I was army but my last posting in Germany was ground comms for the harrier force. On my last exercise i rwas lucky enough to get a flight in a t4. One of the best flights i've ever had. 450knots at 250 feet is quite the roller coasyer ride.

Thanks for excellent work to Mr. Tony Domeisen MBE. Many years dedicated to strengthening British-German relations. Stationed in Hannover, later transferred to Guetersloh. Was a very nice neighbour in Kleefeld!

Let me tell you something: thank to amok running Putin (Ukraine 2022) they could soon be back along with other NATO units to protect Central Europe for another one hundred years or so. Millions of decent and positive thinking Germans not only hope so, but certainly think so.

I did my National Service with 26 Regiment 16 (Sandhams) Battery, Jan1961 -June 1962, At that time they were stationed at Terendak Camp, Malaysia and part of 28 Commonwealth Brigade. 16 Battery was assigned as fire support for 1 Royal Australian Regiment and we were equipped with 25 pounders .

Das waren Zeiten. Ich wohne in der Nähe von Gütersloh. Harrier und Lightnings am Himmel waren täglich zu sehen. 1975 war einTag der offenen Tür, da war ich 15 Jahre alt.
