The first time I was in New Jersey and started to pump my own gas and got verbally abused as the attendant ran towards me. I was really confused. Did this date unless it’s a union thing I don’t understand do they still do stupidity in New Jersey?

For top off it's primarily for the attendant. Legally they can't top off, meaning hold the handle to continue after the auto shut off air nozzle was blocked. Holding the handle and pulling the nozzle out can squeeze in a bit more but can also lead to spilling and fumes.

Technically you could tell the attendant it was not full yet and they would try again/top you off.

my understanding of top off means after the filling stops itself, you try to fill it a little more. I would not imagine anyone holding the trigger and pulling the nozzle out! That's just asking for spillage?

Great way to turn on that check engine light and empty your wallet because of reduced performance and or mechanical repairs.

Also never fuel up your car when the tanker trucks refueling the fuel station. Great way to fill your tank with debris and water from the bottom of the fuel stations tank that gets churned up from the tanker.

Welcome to Oregon! During the pandemic we started to allow self service. They are still required to have attendants. All gas stations were full service except for membership gass stations. This is to be accessible for people with disabilities and a bit to create jobs. There are also some insurance benefits and safety benefits of having an attendant to shut off the station if something goes wrong.

those are just darker brown fresh eggs. I think you are thinking of tea eggs. It might be interesting to make tea eggs from the white ones and compare the color with the dark brown eggs.

Initially he arranged the eggs in a color gradient (which I thought was super cool), then he didn't want to show that, and then he arranged it like this. I guess it's just the surprising number of eggs we got in one day because he didn't check for several days.

Cost a little more but this brand is a class above the Maruchan or Nissan products. Bigger size, better flavored packs and the texture of the noodle are the key differences.
