What if the baby isn’t hungry and you breastfeed them and latch them on and all they do is sit there and don’t suck?

Why doesn't this video have more engagement? This a baby issue nobody talks about. These parents with a baby in a room with the TV blaring while insisting the baby be happy, poking and prodding them. A baby’s nervous systems is immature. They can’t handle the same level of stimulus as an adult. PUT THEM IN A QUIET ROOM AND LET THEM REST!

Most newborn babies have active sleep. So give them a minute before you pick them up. Active sleep can last the entire time they are sleeping

This is a very good informative video. I hope some of the dimwit parents I’ve seen taking videos of their stressed out babies and doing absolutely nothing for them except recording or just laughing when they’re hungry or overstimulated get to see this.

Babies are very logical and reasonable beings! If I were to be born again right now, I would feel exactly the same in such situations. Logically, like I did when I was a baby. These signals are so universal that even I today, being 23 y/o and pregnant for the first time, react the same like the babies. I mean, who wouldn't cry when he's hungry and when his poo is in his diapers and some uncle Tom annoys you with his stupid, childish jokes? Babies are the most reasonable beings in the world.

what wonderful video , I wish this was shown to me earlier. Ive picked up on these cues already and glad I got them right. This would of help to put my child into a settled routine and give me some sleep. Now that I know these cues, I can get to quicker so hes happier and now alot easier to put him to sleep. This learning method is very practical and as a first time mum, very easy to understand.
This video was so helpful and reassuring. I've been trying to figure out a couple of cues for my son and I needed confirmation on them, my pediatrician has not been very helpful or reassuring. This video helped confirm some things and make me feel less like something is wrong and needing medical attention, thank you ❤

my 2 month old has started mouthing which throws off the hunger cues because she’ll be going to town munching on her fingers and when i try to feed her she’ll scream so loud! so these change as the baby gets older, but it is a helpful video :)

This is so cute. Just a question on the part of sitting up a baby to poop or to remove gas, can it not affect the spine? Bcoz I hear some people say we should sit up a baby
@Socraticstatic7 ай бұрын
As long as you support the back and neck it is fine to hold her in a sitter position 😊
